Great tip there!

I followed your instructions using Chrome and then tested it and indeed it is now my default search. I did my first search using it and... a reward of 11 cents!

Well not always. The rewards are random but having it as my default seaarch will certainly make many more opportunities available!

Excellent post! I don't know how often they update the FAQ's (not often from what I gather), but I will recommend this be added as a supplement to them next time they are updated.

The instructions may need checking and revision before they are published. In the Firefox details, for example, it seems that the "%s" should be left off because it appears at the beginning of every search made using the address bar. I haven't tested the instructions for Chrome yet. Instructions for adding MyLot to the Toolbar Search facility might also be usefully included. I use that far more than I use the address bar for searching and it also allows me to select from a number of search engines.

Wow! Thank you very much, Milamber! =) This is so much easier by setting myLot as my default search engine. I do use search engines very often, and it is quite tedious for me to repeat opening myLot page to use the search engines. Now i can just type whatever issues i would like to search on my URL, and it will automatically uses myLot to search for me since i have set myLot website as my default search engine. Thanks a ton! I hope you get a some advice from this user and that one by one all the eventualities are addressed. Admin said in an earlier response that this will be added to the FAQs and it will be great if it is available for all browsers and operating systems
