Just last week, an accident occurred here in our city. Many died and also, injured. A drunk driver of a ten wheeler truck hit a jeepney. Both the jeepney and the truck operators hid themselves. Last month, there was a proposal that PUJs are going to be banned. Instead, mini buses will be preferred. Many people reacted to it because jeepneys are a part of the Filipino culture. I think that people will still experience accidents if the drivers in our place will not changed. Getting a license is so easy here in our country and it's pretty alarming. I guess our local government should resolve this matter. How about in your place?

Not again! Another road accident! Some or most of the jeepney drivers are reckless. And the worse thing is, they would hide from the custody if they crashed, fell, killed and injured many passengers. For me, banning jeepneys is not a good idea. Mini buses will just be like jeepneys also. Undisciplined and reckless drivers will surely use a mini bus as their job instead of jeepneys of course. Mini buses might also have a high fare amount. In our place, jeepneys cause the most traffic. They will even stop in front of a sign which says no unloading and loading zones. Are they just fools and stupid or just really ignoring the rules?! Such drivers should be punished somehow. Because of them, i often come late at work. That is why i am just riding on my motorcycle.

I agree with my friend banning jeepney is not good instead the driver put a deserving punishment to those reckless driver. Mini buses are not good also because I remembered some mini buses from Avenida to Bulacan (Sapang Palay) which most drivers are reckless also (as I know no mini bus now there).. The driver should put an iron hand law for them.. see you around

Not much different. In my country the same thing too often. People who should not deserve to get a driver's license, will easily get it as long the person is able to spend some money to the maintenance an everything associated with it. In fact sometimes the opposite, people who should be eligible to obtain driver's license, may not get because the do not have some money to spent as cost and so forth. So, basically instead of sending a car, truck or other vehicles, but rather the personal, both the driver and the government in implementing the rules.

The keyword here is discipline. Whether you're the owner of a private vehicle or a public utility vehicle driver, you need to exercise discipline. I guess that's what's lacking in our society and it is one of the main reason why we are not progressing.

Again and again will happening in our road if those drivers are all arrogant for driving, they should have discipline and care for others. I remembered one discussion about proposal for lady driver for buses, I think this idea is good not only a challenge for the male drivers or this is a reminder for them that any moment their position being driver will be banned. Meaning not the bus, jeepney or mini bus or truck it should be the drivers fault and careless attitude... see you around

I think women drivers are excellent drivers. At all times, they're very cautious. Whenever I rode jeepneys before, the driver would tell us that the one who's driving the other vehicle was a girl because it's a bit slow.
