Now days, I feel very uncomfortable after a holiday. I do not feel like going to work after the holidays. It is worse, when there is a long holiday. The fact is now days I just like to laze around in the house on the holidays.

Hi Nimmi, Very interesting topic you have chosen. Previously, I always felt very uncomfortable joining my work again on Mondays after a weekend full of enjoyment and parties. I go to office early in the morning, a shift from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. So, this topic is very relevant for me. When alarm rings on Monday morning, people become anxious that they again have to join their office with their very same coworkers and a cold boss who has no sympathy of any kind. So, they push the snooze button and try to sleep again, but then the phone rings and this is from office-yes your boss is calling you, telling you to wake up and come to the office. Oh my god, that is very disgusting. Actually most of the people have this kind of feeling and I used to have the very same feeling in the past, but now I have understood and follow some rules through which I have developed habit of getting up early on Monday, before the alarm, and going to office on time. Firstly, I maintain regular sleep pattern, especially on Sunday so that I do not feel bad on waking up on Monday. Sleep is very important in our life as it can make us stressed and increase our anxiety. It can cause headache and also depression. Secondly, I prepare my clothes and other official things on Sunday night. This allows me to pack my bags quickly in order to leave for office. Having my clothes ready and prepared saves my time in the morning. I used to prepare clothes for the whole week at once and then there is no problem for the whole week. Thirdly, and most importantly, I go to bed on time on Sunday night. If you are having party till midnight or so on Sunday night, there is no chance that you will wake up on Monday morning at time. This has always proven true for me and I am sure this works. So, by following these three basic steps I have controlled my "Monday Morning Blues" very successfully. Just try these ideas and see yourself. Hope this will be helpful. Good Luck!
