Sometimes It's cool to be 'stupid', I would love to be, will you?

Hi Friends, May be you read or heard about it earlier and I am discussing few related things that has been said by so called industry experts.Much has been said about Ratan Tata's story of a fellow industrialist calling him stupid for not paying a Rs 15 crore bribe to a minister for approval of a project. I don’t know whether this bribe story is true or not, but it is true that honest people in our contemporary society are called stupid. Today, "success" is important, not "means". Performance is judged on "profits", not "probity". The CWG, Aadarsh Society and 2G scams, the Radia tapes, and corruption charges against judges and the chief vigilance commissioner are only a fraction of corruption prevalent in the country. It is an open secret that kickbacks, manipulation, favouritism and cheating are an integral part of almost all the dealings in the government or the private sectors. The only difference this time is that all the institutions meant to safeguard the interest of the nation are in the dock at the same time — executive, legislature, judiciary, media and industry. If not offering bribe to get approval is "stupidity", I would love to be stupid:) If you also believe that "indifference at the hour of moral crisis we are facing today" is criminal, make "stupidity" your mission. What do you think?

Have you ever heared the saying "A man of great wisdom appears slow-witted"? That is one of Chinese proverb. It somehow tells the wisdom of acient China. The one who will always show off their intelligence may lead to others' dislike, so to be "stupid" at the right time may not only ease one's stress but bring one with the good relationship with others.

Hi Ajay Singh Baguel: I like your position. In fact, I prefer to be considered stupid for taking these decitions that being a "smart" person. My parents have taught me that is always better to chose what's right even if you see how people who do ilegal or unmoral thing get what they want more quickly. In fact, I think that if you do things well, maybe people think that you are stupid but you'll never feel embarrased when you have to tell how you get the things you have. ALVARO

It is more important to be confident whatever we do in life, if I pay bribe will not feel good about me. I am cheating myself, may be my work will be delayed or will not be done at all but a satisfaction will be there in mind that I have not bribed a corrupt person. Doing so I cannot change the corrupt one but at the same time I cannot change me to be the one I do not like to be . Thank you for sharing.

I've been stupid some times in my life. I'm stupid when I came into believing ideas that in realities are not possible. I've been stupid to be swayed into advocating ideas that in the end would only make matter worst. But I think I will not make myself one more time stupid when morality and corruption is concerned! Sorry, I just can't stand it, I rather lose every thing than lose my belief and my moral and sanity!

Corruption is flowing in every politicians blood and we all are victim of it. So most of us prefer not to be stupid. I still feel that if not giving bribe is stupidity, I will be stupid. Thank You for sharing.
