Have you tried Second Life? What do you think?

A couple of days ago I tried out Second Life. I'm still just getting used to it. Learning how to get around and how to make things. The concept is fascinating, though. Has anyone here been using it for a while? What are your impressions?

It's a virtual world, sort of like Everquest or World of Warcraft. But instead of fighting dragons and trolls, the players create and build objects and art in the world. It is truly fascinating. Check out www.secondlife.com I have an avatar that looks alot like me (a bit younger) and has black wings. That is one of the cool parts too. You can fly or teleport anywhere you want to go.
