Your Facebook Wall....

...is YOUR facebook wall, correct? I'm curious to know why SO MANY people feel like they have to watch what they say ON THEIR OWN WALL. I invite all the naysayers and complainers to come and give me a reason to take anything you say seriously. I have had several friends lately who have posted things like 'so and so said or thinks I am sharing too much' blah blah blah. Well you know what? Whatever SO and SO said is not VALID on YOUR WALL. Your wall is YOURS to say whatever your little heart desires. If they don't like what you say, they certainly don't HAVE to, but they also have other options! Why they can just NOT go to your page and read all this private stuff THEY don't like to read! EASIEST THING EVER. They could remove you as a friend OR they could HIDE your statuses and your wall! That's pretty easy too! But NO.... they just want to try and shut you up by saying 'hmmm, I don't think you should say that'. As for me, I will say whatever I feel like saying. If they don't like it, they can not read it, or lump it. I could care less. So freaking annoying! Please, feel free to weigh in. And if you tell me that your wall is certainly YOURS and you don't listen to all that stuff, please be telling me the truth. Letting other people control what you do is the first step toward slavery in the social networking world. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN!!

i agree with you 100%! People have choices. Why do they choose to come to your wall, read what you have to say, then complain about it. If you don't like it then move on to the next friends wall. Folks need to mind their business and keep it moving!

It certainly is MY wall. I do not post that much on it but it is under my control. I may be careful in some regards as I have grandchildren that read my wall but for the most part whatever is on my feeble mind at the time I am posting is what people see on my wall. My wall and profile are also public, I'm not one of those that feels the need to hide

it depends on what you say on your wall. i think we opt to be responsible on what we say . if we don't attack someone on your own wall then i don't see any thing wrong with what you say on the wrong. but i think we should responsible on what we say on the wall. anything like personal attack on other people. and of course people would want to see if any thing said or wrote on your wall against them. but i am not saying you are doing this. i am just wondering what are the things you post on your wall that made others react.

I agree with you. Last year I posted on my wall that I was thinking about quitting a playgroup that I was a member of. Well, that caused s*it to hit the wall because I was friends with a lot of people on facebook that were members of both of the groups that I was a member of. They all said that it caused quite an uproar within the groups. I don't feel that it was right to tell me that they had problems with what I posted on my wall, but they all seemed to think it was appropriate.

You have really touched on something with this post lol. I have come across so many people who whine and complain about what I write on my wall or even others and I find it hilarious. To me that shows that they have no life and are having a hard time being happy with themselves in some situation in their lives. My thing is if you dont like it DONT comment point blank just take your nosey self elsewhere and leave my page to me and what I feel I want to discuss on it. At the end of the day Im gonna do what makes me happy regardless so that negative feedback does nothing more than motivate me to continue to speak my mind. However, I do appreciate how important they make me feel by always wanting to put in their two cents. LOL :)

I stay away as mylot= and my survey are about all I can handle and have any time for myself.

I don't care what other people think. I post whatever. I can even post something like Frontvisions is pooping on a drainage and won't care what they have to say about it.
