just keeps on amazing me. Now the company has taken out fullpage ads saying that their beef is 88% real beef. The rest is spices and fillers. I must say if it is real beef it is very low quality and not Carls, Wendy's or Jack quality(it's all grissley and yuck!) at all..here's the latest yahoo article on it. Your thoughts please. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110128/ap_on_bi_ge/us_taco_bell_lawsuit

I feel weird reading criticisms of Taco Bell, because everyone seems to hate their food. It's the butt of jokes. Makes me feel self conscious because I like their tacos. I used to walk from campus to the nearest one between classes in college just to buy some for lunch. And I'm not one to walk anywhere. Oh, well. Who wants to be like everyone else? I'll continue to like it despite the majority of people thinking it's horrible. And, since it hasn't disagreed with me so far, I don't think it'll hurt me now. Besides, I've had to adjust my diet too much so far to give up yet another pleasure. Yep, call me crazy, Taco Bell has always been a pleasure for me.

I used to like them too until I read the truth about thier ingredients. I just saw a commercial stating McDonald's meat as 100% and I know that it isn't. I can tell. I started the two discussions to enlighten people as to what was going on. I don't think the 'disagreement' of the TB meat will come over night.

Even without checking out yahoo, my thoughts are that I have not been to Taco Bell in almost a year, and I very seldom go to fast foods of any kind. I think it is a good thing I do not. I do not know how they will prove themselves right or wrong, but I know that my food experiences there just prove that I am not going back.

Good! I have seen them being very busy tonight. I hope that this hasn't helped them business wise. Ugh!

Spices, OK, but food additives? Not buying their argument. Food additives aren't meat!

The law agency did an analysis of the 'filler' (I refuse to call it meat) and found it to be 35% ground beef and Taco Bell says it is 88%. Interesting don't you think. Last time I had a Taco Bell anything I would chew and feel the grissle I was eating. Ugh! Never again. Especially after this.
