Hi All, Chelsea managed to get a sweet revenge of Sunderland when they beat the Black cats 4-2 to record their second successive league win. Anelka and Terry scored for Chelsea with Anelka proving that he is still not past his best. New signings Torres and Luiz did not feature in the game since they could not complete their moves in time. It looks like Torres will make his debut against his old club, Liverpool. It looks like the Chelsea team we saw at the start of the season is coming back and is raring to go all the away to challenge for the title.

i think chelsea had pay back their lost in their home..it`s good game from anelka and drogba... terry had gave a good result for chelsea... it make ancelotti confuse how to select the player which accompany torres when chelsea meet liverpool

Both Terry and Anelka played well and are likely to start against Liverpool.

Chelsea had fallen so far back that they need to keep winning to first ensure their chance of Champions League and then if possible mount a title challenge. But anyhow it was good win for Chelsea and with Anelka scoring it would be tough to see which of the strikers get to play continuously for Chelsea. With Drogba, Anelka, Torres, Kalou it is going to be a real difficult choice. Cheers! Ram

All of a sudden, they have plenty of options in the striker department. But they need improvement in midfield.

My Blues started giving me the Blues with their pathetic play a few games ago and have a feeling Man U will win the league but there is a lot of soccer to still be played. I feel our strike force now is going to be unstoppable so lets hope the defense is working hard. I wonder what we will do with Torres :p

Chelsea started the season on a high note then their performance dropped, now they are again getting better. What next?

Chelsea having 67% of possession were destined to win this one.. 14 shots on target and 7 shots off target meant that they played a very attacking game and kept going forward.. Rare to see a team put 2 goals past Chelsea when they are having a good game hence i feel that even Sunderland did quite well.. Their new signings look promising but we will have to wait and watch how Luiz plays alongside Terry and how well Torres fits into their formation alongside Drogba and Anelka.. Looks like Kalou might not get a start till one of these guys are injured but he will definitely be their super sub..

Yes, Sunderland did play well. In fact, the first half was stunning. However, Sunderland withered away in the second.

I belie Chelsea will win the title, I think Man U will slip somewhere and give up some points and I believe Chelsea will capitalize on those opportunities and I think that at the end of the season they will be champions again. Torres and Luiz will only make Chelsea better and they can go all the way in the League and with Torres added to the Champions League roster they could win the Champions League.

Chelsea are 10 points behind United and of that 6 points are in their hand since they play United twice. The rest 4, they have to play well and hope that United doesn't.
