Hello sais,
My ideology about being cool is, well, someone who has some content in him/her. not necessary that the person should be good looking with spikes and some other hair do's. then, t-shirts like the film stars and all. Its necessary for the person to be himself/herself! pretending to be cool can actually back-fire him/her. That looks really fake!
just be yourself and master the positive things in you, you will be the coolest person amongst the people around you!

Well, content in the sense, a little knowledge of what he/she is speaking about! It looks so funny when people speak about things that they know and end up speaking all the crap they can and make the mess out of the conversation!
Other than that, the knowledge of how to speak in which place!

For me a person who is cool is someone I can get along with very well;it happens to me from time to time to meet such cool people and enjoy their company,because I realize that we have many thoughts and ideas in common;anyway,people who show me they have something in their brain and people with whom I can have very interesting conversations without knowing when time has come are the coolest for me.

You have a point there that people whom we share the same interests and lots of knowledge about is cool to us. Being cool could depend on what kind of group of persons we go with. It might also depend on our interests. Like for example getting a tattoo is cool for others because they are interested in tattoing but not to those who do not have any interest in tattoos.

For me, something is cool if it looks good on a person and not what others say. Yes I can say that it's okay to try new things especially when it comes to fashion or gadgets but then choosing the right thing to wear or use to make you look cool is really up to you. If I feel good about it, comfortable enough and makes me look better in my opinion then that's what I call COOL.
