we are supposed to go today to a theme park near here the area for it is just 12 degrees outside. after having -6 this past few days today was a great day to go around. but unfortunately the theme park was close. and our guide was there talking with someone at the park. after the little chit chat he explained to us that someone died at a roller coaster ride at tokyo dome so all theme parks are closed for check. now thats scary. he said the person died was a 35 years old father. i pity for the kid/s. he fell down from his seat and the roller coaster ran over him. yaiks. so do you still trust this theme park rides after you hear news like this one.

That's really scary. I love roller coasters so to think that something like that could happen really worries me. Did his restraints malfunction? I know at most theme parks I go to, they have people there to check your restraints and buckles to ensure they will keep you in the seat.

hi there, thanks for responding at once. this is the only news i found online about it. http://www.themeparkinsider.com/accidents/list_unverified.cfm. since i am a foreigner here at japan, japanese people dont talk about it to tourist for it will not be a good news to go around. so i really dont know the news fully. it is really scary to know that there are accidents like this. i dont ride roller coaster but still it is not a good news for people who loves to go to theme parks. thanks a lot for the response

Wow how scary and sadly to say that I do entrust them as I do go twice every summer. Hopefully it was an isolated incident where as it does not happen often.
