Ok, I am very scared here. My daughter is now 7 months pregnant and I was just told she has Preeclampsia. Yesterday she had to be taken from her ob check up to the Labor & Delivery floor for further checking. I have read what I could on it, and see it is a very serious condition...so I am worried. Has anyone had it during their pregnancy and how did things turn out?? Everyone ok?

When I was expecting my disabled toddler son it was imagined by my midwife that I might have preeclampsia. This was due to my high blood pressure and protein in my urine. I was 36 weeks pregnancy and it was lucky to found out that I didn't have preeclampsia. However later that day I found out I was expecting a disabled baby. He has got spina bifida and hydrocephalus. He was born at home at 39 weeks pregnancy. I imagine your daughter will stay in hospital and the staff will keep a close eye on her. They will be likely to let her pregnancy continue and try to get her blood pressure lower. If there is danger then your daughter might have to have a c-section or induction. Good luck.
