Something finally good happened to pakistan cricket, winning an away series in 2 years against NZ...not only they won the Test series, they even won the ODI series comprehensively...most of their players getting in good form...Its really a sweet victory for them after all the drama of match fixing, captaincy issue, 3 players getting banned, experienced campaigner missing the WC bus and what not. They would be the underdogs but mind it they would be the team to beat and may find themselves in the finals of the WC..

Yes, I think ur right...there are the underdogs...they can be the finalists in the WC but they have to play as a team in all the games...right from start...though I personally like afridi to give his 100% as he is a true match winner with both ball and bat... all the best !!

Winning in New Zealand condition for any team particularly the team from sub continent is really praise worthy. The Pakistan team always had the ability to perform but the mentality of players and officials alike dragging that team back in international rankings. That team is plagued by internal revolt and match fixing for years now. The players as well as officials have given their interest priority over teams performance. They did not mind tarnishing their country's image for a small self gain.

Pakistan are always a good team in the ICC events... Given the names in their team, they can blast at anytime... But this series win is no-where near to the competition they are going to face in the world tournament... This NZ team has nothing to win a match except for their fielding.... No one in the team knows more than a couple of attacking shots.... No one has a great stability except Scott Styris.... And may be even Kane Williamson comes under the category but he needs tons and tons of experience before he can be included there.... So, may be this wont count for a good form for the Pakistanis but they surely are a great team in the subcontinent conditions....
