So today in almost a week the sun finally came out and began to melt everything, so I decided to walk to the store I wore 3 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, and boots needles to say this has turned in to a big slushy mess!!! There are still parts of the ground that don't get sun and has not completely melted yet!! Anyway what I was going to say during my walk to the store I found out that there are still some very rude people out there for example there are 2 lanes on the main street I had to cross and we all know puddles of melting water are closest to the edge so I was watching this lady and no cars were around only her!!! She was talking on the cell phone and looked right at me and it seems she purposely got in the lane where she could splash me!! How f'n rude was that? If it is raining out side and I see someone walking I drive by slowly or get in the other lane! What do you think about that?

I have a theory that bad weather brings out the worst in people. And it's rain, not snow or blizzards, which has the worst effect. During the past week we've had very low temperatures, and the streets were frozen and there was ice everywhere, and I couldn't help but notice that people, especially young people, were quite nice, and helping others, and moving away from dry patches or waiting patiently for older folks to move along. This all ended when it started to rain, now it's like everybody has gone blind all of a sudden, bumping into each other on the street without a word of apology, almost taking each other's eyes out with the umbrellas, and suddenly, everybody's in a hurry, as if the whole world speeds up when it's raining.

Hmmm? I will keep any eye out for that behavior next time it rains for sure and you are right people do seem happier when it is snowing and icy always wanting to help others but what happened earlier to me I don't think that there was any excuse for that!!! How rude could she be?

Hi. jahernand. Ughh. That was very rude of her. Very rude! That reminds me of how some people will see me trying to cross the street with my kids with me. You would think that they would be nice to let us go. I am sitting at the curb for almost ten minutes waiting to cross the street. It is very aggravating when someone would do this to us! This lady could have avoided going in this lane. And she should have not been on her cell phone either! Doesn't she know that it is very dangerous to be on her cell phone, while driving! She was an complete idiot for being rude to you!
