hi fellas i am conscious on the topics i stumble upon here just a few days ago. they kept on saying that there's a new paypal policy. no one would just can explain to me its full blow by blow account. they have said that the new policy will be implemented this march 1 and they mentioned about compulsory cashing out the funds drom our paypal for we will be deducted. there's also that 1 dollar fee for every transaction. i considered all these as myths as long as i don't have any concrete evidence at hand. i have surfed over the paypal site but i found nothing on the new policy. is it only applicable for the indians?i have read posts from most of the indians. please help me solve this query.

Paypal has changed it's guidelines for all its Indian users. These rules will be applicable from March 1, 2011 onwards. PayPal changed some of their rules in order to comply with the guidelines of The Reserve Bank of India which is the central bank here. You will get further clarifications here http://bizcovering.com/business/paypal-india-explanation-for-new-policy-updates/ However I don't think the same rules will be applicable in your country. The change in rules of PayPal-India is to continue its service in India. You can say that it has been forced to change its policy to do business in our country. The central bank in your country may have some different set of rules that it will force PayPal to follow. You can directly mail them to the following email id, webform@intl.paypal.com Let them know your queries here. You'll get a faster response.

As far as I'm aware I was told the changes only applied to Indian users but I'm not certain.
