marry him or marry his money

In my country ,mang tv programes become a flat that young people can make friends there.
The growing number of people especially for girls ,they consider a person wether he can be a boyfriend is looking how much money he has.
Few days ago, I saw an artical named "People in China marry money and family.
How about your counties?

When there are people who actually marry to just have a good life. There are still a lot who marries because of love. It is best to marry to one that you love because you are going to spend the rest of your life w/ that person.
For chinese, that's their tradition. So they strictly follow it.

There are a lot of Chinese here in the Philippines that's why we don't find their culture unfamiliar. I've had Chinese friends and most of them were forced to married somebody whom they do not love. It's part of their culture so we can't do nothing about it.
Filipinos are famous for their being hospitable and practical. Parents would want their daughters to marry someone who can be a good provider, but it doesn't mean that guys should be wealthy; it depends to what kind of parents you have.
