On this Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2011, planet Venus, the 'Love Planet' is in the constellation of Sagittarius. In the Natural Zodiac, Venus is the lord of the 2nd and 7th houses and Sagittarius in the 9th house. Venus' influence encompasses sensual, romantic, worldly love as well as service focused, devotional Godly love. It is an evolution from the lower self of sensory pleasure, to human love, to higher spiritual realms. This planet governs all aspects of these important qualities of life. This means that those in relationship will find that this is a good period as the energy supports 'taking it to the next level'. This 'next level' could even be marriage! For those that desire, there is a great chance of conceiving a child at this time. Human love or 'relationship' is the most challenging problem on the earth plane. Souls keep coming to the earth plane to master emotions and experiences. Relationship is the most powerful emotional experience. It can fill the heart with joy or thrust a knife into the heart of people depending on the karma of the individuals. Because relationship is emotional, it is hard to control or regulate it. It is a matter of the soul and its dealings in many past life times; so much karma. Everyone wants some sort of relationship with an individual, individuals or groups that they deal with. First there are problems in attracting relationship then there are always challenges. But it is in relationship where we have the opportunity to evolve the fastest.
