The hangover remains

I am not talking of any hang over from ‘drinks’, I never drink alcoholic drinks. Since the day we came from Tirupati journey, my feet were swollen due to walking bare feet so long. Next I had fever, headache, and cold cough; may be ‘viral-fever’; now there is no fever, but headache, body ache, dizziness remains. When I cough, dry yellow sputum comes out. No zeal to work, so planning a trip to RamojiFilmCity here, as I have said in other discussion. How do you feel after a fever, cold, cough etc.? Do you feel kind of hang over after drinks? Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

Well, here is how it is. When you are drinking, expect to feel crummy the next day. There are things that you can take for it, but yeah, I remember my brother when he had a hangover, it was the funniest thing ever. My mom even made him clean up the "John" after he threw up in it. I laughed so hard. He deserved it. He knew better than to get hammered like that, but he did it anyway.

Well, yeah, of course, who doesn't know that? My family has several names for the toilet because we don't like to call it "the toilet", it sounds so bland.

I dont know what it feels like having a hangover after drinks but I have experienced hangovers after long journeys. So I can understand how you feel. I hope you are feeling better now. Or are you still under medications? The hangover of cold and cough is also really very bad. At times if the cough is too bad there is severe pain in the chest too.

hi professor, for non drinkers like me, i often wonder what it is that drinkers get from getting drunk. seems that what they get are headaches and being in some embarrassing situations most of the time. but i know that is not the case with you. what you have is viral, which is very common due to the very fast changing weather. ive had bouts with colds, fever and flu and i say it is not a nice feeling to have them. i would feel weak and would not enjoy food because it would taste bland no matter how delicious. best for you to keep taking fruits and lots of liquids and the religious intake of medicine for colds and cough. get well soon. ann

try taking drink two teaspoons each of apple cider vinegar and honey in a cup of hot water three times daily to break up mucus congestion and cough. have a glass by the bed and take a couple of swallows if you wake up coughing.

I hope you will recover your health soon.WHO have proposed ,for health we must give up smoking and place restrictions on drinking. When I was a young blood I was fond of drink and sought to do others down so often overdrink. Those are experiences which make my heart still fluttering with fear.
