What do you think?
Well, I have read this discussion about a member here who got bored of his/her profile and decided to remodel it and this made me realize that I have been thinking of the same for quite some time and have put the thought of for three years now, or more. One thing I really wanted and have been deciding is to change my avatar into a real picture of me. So, do you think I should go for it? At first I was hesitant because I didn't really want just anyone to know who I am or how I look like but then again, I realized two things with regards to this: 1) I have already posted a picture of me in my profile, so there's no point of actually hiding how I look, and 2) I have been in mylot for so long, have enjoyed my stay here so far, and see no harm of letting people know how I look.
How about you guys? Would you? What would make you decide to put a real picture of you as your avatar?

I think you should go for it. Many users here have posted their picture so I think you should, too. Look at me, I've posted my picture on my avatar.

I usually use my real picture in every acct that requires it.I use to be scared of using my real pictures because a lot of people are using fake identites now a days.But,wth?you should use what you're comfortable with.Use a picture of yourself as long as you are comfortable with it.

Hi. choybel. I have a real picture of me on myLot. For three years, I had avatars of flowers. I have decided to let the world see how I look. If you feel comfortable about it, then go for it. It sounds like a really good idea. But this decision should be left up to you entirely.

I'm still learning things slowly in this site and I would like also like to put avatars too. I still have to decide on whether I should put my real photo or not. In your case, three years should be reason enough to put your real picture since you're considered a veteran.

It is always good to associate the post to a real face, even if it is just half of it...LOL...like mine.
I keep saying it's half because half my life is online and the other half is running around in the real world.
I posted it because someone in here also suggested a face is always more approachable than an icon.

Well, the picture on my profile is really one of me that was taken about 5 yrs. ago or so. I really need to eventually consider putting a New one on here so people can see how I have changed, etc. from here. Personally except for Facebook I do not mind people being able to see the real me, since I feel it is a way for people to want to get to know more about me as well.
