Hiya adhyz, Only hope that it will end all the problems that they are having there. Egypt is a wonderful place to visit and all the troubles will cause more hassle for all and tourists. Just for them to make a good changeover for the better of the Country itself. I was talking to an Egyptian Man the other Day and he was telling us about the real problems they have. He does live over here though and being a Lorry Driver gets to go back every so often.

Hiya adhyz, Yes I know we have followed this with great interest as my "Sister" and her Husband like to travel a lot to Egypt too. It must be hard to choose a new President after such a long time. But I think that things will work out for Egypt at least I hope so. Take care now.

what happen right now in Egypt reminds me to what happen to our country in 1998. the Egypt will face the uncertainty too just like us. many leader will claim their self that they can manage the country with well and sounds so promising

i can't believe any other leader anymore. even though they said that they would do anything for the people, but in real they just do that for their property and wealthy. and again people are leaving by them. we have to fight in our own when the price of food is high.

I am not surprised, because hosny mubarak had to retreat. I was just surprised by the way Egyptian population, making hosny mubarak retreat. Egypt is an Islamic state, they should know, how they rebuke the government. Islam is not allowed in the demonstration. Is not been taught in Islam that in advising the ruler should be done clandestinely and in a male face to face-to-face between himself and just ruler, in order to avoid the appearance of a larger mudhorot? Thus, if the ruler was angry, so that the victim was just the advisers alone (which is where this is the greatest jihad), and not the masses who are victims.

Yes he has to retreat only that it was not easy for such leaders to retreat due to the taste of absolute powers confired on them by religion and beliefs. I think the people are tired of just an adviser going to see the leaders or rulers one- on -one again. As the saying goes power belong to the people and this they have exhibited and have actually won. It was a thing of joy to see the unity among the people of Egypt during the protest not minding the religion one or the other belongs to. mutual respect is necessary.

Hi adhyz, Egypt was under lots of stress and strain in last 16 days . The people of Egypt have show courage and determination to get a tyrant out of the way. Husni mubarak was getting more and more power hungry and this lust of his for power made him real bad president. Now my only concern is who so ever comes next is a good one and not as bad as husni or the sacrifices made by people of Egypt would go waste.

Hi adhyz, It is not poverty or anything but bad governance over the years along with rigging elections and everything .. He made sure that he would stop all the change and you can not stop an idea whose time has come. There are still many husani left in mideast which would surely change or go with time.

Hi adhyz, I just found out about this news this morning from our newspaper and actually I am shock. This is because Hosni Mubarak, in the previous statement or whatever, never want to step down until September. He try everything to remain in power. I believe he done it because the army support for the protesters. Since Mubarak step down and I heard that the army would be in-charge for the tyime being, Egypt need a fast election to elect the new representative and anyone connected with Mubarak would displease the Egypian. They want a new face and cant stand against United State and Israel. Whoever take Mubarak place would have to make a big decision especially regarding their coorporation with the Israel. This protesters was back by Ikhwan Muslimin group and this group definitely want any tied with Israel cutted.

Hi Adyz!. I really glad to hear thats news and majority of Egypt people got what they want, a new start in political life. I think what they have been going threw is similar with what we got in 1998 and its seem Egypt people are making new history. I think they now celebrate it. Honestly I am not really surprise its will happen when I see majority of them gather in the street for days and got world wide attention. With thats big international publication I think there not much an army can do so The President totally had nothing to force them to surrender. I think every think has their own time and thats include peace in middle east. I think there no man power will able to made it. I think what become concern if what happen in Egypt spread in others country in Arab because they wanna a better life free from repression.

Yes I see it coming...only when is not clear because Mubarak has a lot of influence among the rulling people, the Army and police in Egypt and of course some notable business people. Its just the tenacity of people that is needed. As soon as the factories and company workers joined in I know sooner Mubaraks strenght will be broken. 1. Business people will not want issues like this to affect their business, then they will start talking underground with the protesters, the Military. 2. Military will see a sense of responsibility on themselves due to various negotiations from within (Business people, influential personalities, etc) and Without (foreign governments, presidents and other influential outsiders and of course White House) Good the people held on damning the pain, sorrow and hunger. That is the voice of the People!

I suspected this would happen, and though I believe 30 years as president is too long, I don't know if the people really understand what this might mean. This is the last country surrounding Israel that was somewhat at peace with her. Now, I think things are really going to shake up in the mid-east because of this.

Hosny mubarak eventually resigned his position as president. This is what awaited the people of Egypt and other countries. I was very surprised, hosny mubarak willing to resign from his position as president, because all this time, hosny mubarak not willing to resign from his position as president. Hopefully, the new government, could bring Egypt into a better direction.

It's about time Hosni Mubarak step down. He's been in power for 32 years; longer than any other presidents in the Middle East. He should have resigned and stepped down honorably. Now, he had to flee the city when the army banded against him and sided with the protesters. I hope there will be peace in Cairo now and that they would elect a suitable president to rule the country.

I think it is too soon to say anything, no-one really seems to know what will happen, even not the Egyptians! So time will tell! But of course the people of Egypt deserve democracy like everyone else, there is no question about that!

their role for peace in middle east is not so an issue for me... BUT... i am romanian, and the events from egypt reminds me about 1989 and Ceausescu's resignation. After that day, things getting worse by day who past... and we think there's big chances to happen same thing in egypt... all you have to do is to compare Romania's economic wealth in 1989 and 2011...

The end result of the many protest in Egypt is a good example of how the average citizen can join together to take back the power from corrupt officials. I hope that this can serve as an example to those countrys that still suffer from government corruption and misuse of power.
