Well, I put on a few pounds as I Love the cheese. So I have given up eating cheese. I miss the cheese and all it goodness. I know it can be bad for you. But I sure did Love it all of it just a little to much. Colby, Swiss, and many more. My food bill has gone down so that is a plus not my wight yet. LOL That will take awhile. Has anyone else given up the cheese or anything they Love?

yes i do love cheese too and when you have just started eating food with it, it seemed like it's hard to rid ourselves from it anymore. but since cheese contains a lot saturated fats, i gained pounds so i quit putting some of it on my food. anyway, aside from cheese i have given up plenty of things or foods that i loved due to some circumstances. i know the exact feeling of missing those.

I understand your problem perfectly, I eat a lot of cheese as well, and it adds up on the scale. I don't have problems with sweets, chocolate, junk food - most things people complain, but cheese, I just can't resist. I do not eat bread or pasta with cheese - only raw vegetables - that makes me feel less guilty. Most of the time I try to eat goat, cottage cheese or low-fat mozzarella - these are supposed to be the healthy types. Not that I can resist anything else, if it's on the table

The price of goat cheese is way high. So that is a good way for me not to eat that one. I don't eat all the sweets and junk food as well. But THe cheese is really hard for me not to eat. But doing better. Have a nice day

I dont know if I can give up cheese. But hey, way to go! The weight should start dropping. If I gave up starches I bet the weight would melt off. I am starting to cut back tho.

I actually gave it up too at the beginning of the year...then my daughter pointed out all the benefits of cheese as I don't drink milk or use any other dairy products....so I might have a slice a day...not more though! I try to keep a handle on it!

are you sure that you got these extra pounds from eating cheese?! you must have ate A LOT of cheese. Try to think if maybe you gain this extra weight from eating a lot of bread with the cheese. I think that you continue eating fat cheese and still lose the extra pounds as long as you won't eat a lot of it. Try to eat only small amount of chees and only 2-3 times a week. I did it this way and also gave up on bread (i only eat bread 2-3 times a week also and very little of it)and i still lost the weight i wanted.

I am not sure if you are aware of the new cheese that is very good for you, it is very similar to the margarine you can get now that actually lowers cholesterol...they are a blocker for the whatever it is that causes cholesterol....
