How to gain trust?

My parents are becoming dubious of me. I do not know why. I believe I have done nothing wrong for them to doubt whether I will be successful or not. Sometimes I get depressed because of this.

Have you talk to your parents personally, and ask what is their worries? Maybe there are some unclear doubt they have on you, and you should clear it out with them. It won't be so bad after all right, because you want your parents trust you, and you can share everything with your parents too.

Trust is not something that you can just give and take. Trust is something that needs to be earned. Sometimes people need a little more motivation and assurance when they begin to lose that trust in someone.

Be trustworthy. be there for your parents, make no demands and do not go back on your words. In time you will gain trust.

Why would they be dubious of you if you have done nothing wrong. Maybe you have insinuated something that made them act like that. I guess, it would be better if you ask them, so you could clarify if you think you were misunderstood.

Some times it depends on the people your around the friends you hang out with the people you bring around. Maybe your parents she other kids smoking and not in school or maybe your friends are that way and there just scared and confused you mite end up that way. A good thing to do is sit down and talk to them tell them how your feeling and explain im not going to be like them. Regardless your parents love you and will probley be there for you no matter what. There is no reason to be depressed about it thought because then you emotional state will stay the same and you wont grow to be able and tell them whats wrong with you.

It's really sad if your parents doubt you- I have been through that a few times too. The best thing you can do is be honest about them... ANd you can also be open to them, tell them how you feel when they doubt you. I hope it goes well.
