articlesale.com - Any writers had any luck with it?

So, I found this site articlesale.com today, and it seems like a good idea. You post your articles on there, set the prices that you like, and if someone buys your article, then you are paid directly into paypal. Now, I've already made quite a bit of money at Constant-Content which is the same idea, but I want to spread out my earnings, and not keep all my eggs in one basket so to speak. Now, it seems that this articlesale.com site has been around for a while, and has lots of writers, with new articles being posted rather frequently, but even so... I can't find much talk about it on the web. So, have any of you tried it? Have any of you sold anything there? Or have any of you bought anything there? I'm hoping to hear some experiences about the site, before I dive in head first and possibly waste my time. But then again, it's only time, and if it does work out, then that's a bonus I suppose.

I work for Words of Worth, a UK site and one I heartily recommend, though they tend to take UK writers. I'm with CC as well, but got put off by the high expectations their subs seem to have over passing articles for sale. Also, a lot of the requests I get in my mail box would "fail" their article content guidelines, which confuses me - do they actually read what their clients want? I've not heard of this one, but I guess you could just post an article on spec, see what happens and carry on with CC in the meantime. Nice to meet a fellow writer!

That's probably a good way to think about it. Post a few, see if there's any nibbles... and go from there. And in the mean time, I'll stick with things that I know have worked for me in the past. But yes, the very strict CC guidelines have me looking for other options, but if they are the only place with buyers, I guess I'll have to deal with the strict rules, and face the long times before approval. I just really hate posting an article, and then waiting for a week to see if it passes or fails for something silly like a misplaced comma. Anyway, thanks :)

At present, I'm writing for big clients like Holiday Inn, Co-op Holidays, Wickes and B & Q, with recurring contracts, so I know I'm good. Trouble is, I've got an editor who sorts out the odd misplaced comma and I'd get really cross at "failing" over something stupid like that! Plus, I've heard that they have a rather robotic view of grammar. Creative writers have been "breaking" the "rukes" of grammar for years - starting a sentence with "yet" etc. Yet sometimes it's just the way to get a point across, doncha hink? Sorry, think ...

Hi No, I haven't tried articlesale. I have written for Shvoong, Associated Content ( now yahoo!publisher) and Triond. I feel AC is the best, but now with yahoo taking over it , future seems bleak. Even Bukisa stopped paying directly and I hardly make any earnings on Triond. I will certainly try articlesale, but I doubt whether any of my articles will ever get sold.

If you do go over there and give it a try, let me know how things turn out for you. I'll let you know if I have any luck over there too :D I might as well give it a shot, because you never know.

I've always liked to write. But I'm also a native English speaker. I couldn't even imagine how hard it must be to learn a new language and to write articles well in it. Good for you with your continued learning! Just keep at it, practice makes perfect :D

Recently I have earned selling my article in articlesale.com. Excellent site to directly sell the article and payment is through paypal. Even articlesale do not charge anything. :)
