Holy crap, the wind is horrible right now.

I stood at the front door having a smoke and couldn't believe how bad the wind is blowing right now. It's been blowing hard since mid afternoon. Wind gusts right now are up to 78km/hr! That's pretty bad. Earlier, before the lights flickered and it was still light out, I was spooked by a large branch flying by the front window. Another one hit the front door. Thankfully it was a small branch so it didn't do any damage. But still, it spooked the dog who started barking at the door thinking that someone was there. I don't recall having wind this strong, it's been bad before, but never like this. I have no idea when it's going to die down, but hopefully soon, last thing I need is a shattered windshield from a branch blowing onto it. My van is parked on the road, probably the safest place for it right now. We've been blessed with some warm weather for the last 2 days until the wind picked up today. But at least it melted a lot of the snow and about half of our front and backyards can be seen again. Is anyone else having this horrible wind right now?
