How do I get cha cha to stop asking me questions?

So the other day I was texting this service called cha cha. You can text them and ask a question and they will reply to your text with a answer. Well they ended up texting me a text that said that I could answer questions for fun if I knew the definition of words. Well I started to get text and they were all questions. I didn't know the answer to any of them. So I didn't reply to any of them. Now I am getting frustrated because everyday it is a everyday thing that cha cha sends me text asking me questions. I have text stop iknow words. I have replied stop. Anything I can think of. All I want is for them to stop sending me these questions. If this doesn't stop soon I will not be using their service anymore at all, even for me to ask the service questions for free. This is a hassle and interrupts me when they text me 3-5 times a day. Just a warning to anyone...If you use cha cha and they text you iknow words. Do not text that back because they will not stop sending you text. I don't mean for one day, I mean everyday. Some days are worse than others. When I text cha cha a question then I think it gets worse. I feel like they are texting me hoping for me to do their job for free. I am getting very frustrated with the situation. I only text this to them because I wanted to do it because it sounded fun and I thought it would be for a night, not every single day. Anyway has anyone else experienced anything like this? How do I get them to stop? Any suggestions?

Not with cha cha or similar site. So not sure how you can get cha cha site to stop but I can tell you that you can call your cell phone provider and they will for free, block them from coming to your cell phone. Wow what a nice way of them getting people to answer for free, well not free as you pay for the texts, but see they hire people to do this so nice way of getting free services for them. Best of luck

That is very odd. I just asked my daughter if cha cha had been harrassing her with questions too. She said they hadn't but that doesn't mean that they won't start. I'm glad that you give us the heads up on this because she uses that cha cha alot.

Do not text them iknow words or iknow. This is when cha cha started to send me questions. It happens everyday. If it keeps on then I am going to have to either call them or block them. It has started to get better because it used to be 3-4 times a day and now is only about once a day. So hopefully they will stop eventually. I am glad that I could warn you because it is definately aggravating! I stopped using them because they send me so many questions. When I send them questions they start sending me more questions. T

I have never done anything like that. So I can't help you with that. BUt here try this call them and ask them not to send you text messages anymore unless you ask for them. If that don't work don't use them again and have your cell phone company go after them. That is all I have. You have a great day.

I have heard of ChaCha from another site. They have a program for Guides that you can get paid on. I went and checked out there site again because of your question and I was wondering did you mistakenly sign up for that program? Of course they could just be asking random questions that either timed out( no one accepted the assignement of answering the question) or just to have additional content for their site. In either case I would suggest that you contact them directly and tell them to stop. Or worst case: cancel your account and tell your phone provider to block them. Hope that helps. Happy Mylotting

Sounds like you signed up for the IKNOW program. Just text in the phrase IKNOW STOP to 242242. The signup confirmation and help messages tell you how to do this. If you have problems, you might need to turn off sms signatures, so that you send it in exactly like this: IKNOW STOP

Thank you for telling me this. I will try this because I haven't yet. I have been texting them back "stop" or "stop words" They do send me a text saying they have canceled my service but then a couple of hours later or the next day then cha cha will send me another question. Thanks again.
