How do you cope with stress?

Stress as we know it, is one of our worst enemies. It really beats the body and affects our job efficiency. Despite really tight schedules and lots of commitments, how do you cope up with stress?

To be very frank, it happens once in hundred times when i feel stressed. It mainly depends on how you take things. You will be terribly stressed if you don't enjoy your work. However If it happens that you are very much stressed, then just take a small nap, or close your eyes and just sit back without thinking or if you cannot control your thinking process then put in earphones in your ear, listen to your favorite music. Some other ways of re-leaving stress are exercise play with pets or talk to your loved ones. Watching movies or comedy serials/shows or your favorite sports also helps in getting out of stress. Their are many ways, and it depends and vary from person to person, that how he gets out of stress.

sometimes I really am not happy with my work..but I can't give it up..I am lucky to have that work in my hands while others are jobless..and yet you are right, music helps a lot...and for girls, SHOPPING... :)

Hey you are very very correct, girls love shopping. They will be ready for shopping even at mid night. They like to keep on purchasing, whatever the utility of the product may be. Shopping gives them immense pleasure.

We all have our own ways to deal with stress. When I'm stressed, I usually try to do things that will help me relax. I read a book, watch a funny movie, or something like that. I find that these types of activities generally help me relax.

Sometimes when I'm stressed, I do read articles of my interest to divert my mind to other things. Movies are also great. And I also exercise, it really helps.

I have a full-time job taking many hours each work day, and I have to finish things right on schedule. That is really very stressful. Some days, by the time I get back home it is close to 9 pm. sore tired and stressed. I have 2 favorite ways to get rid of the stresses, listening to my favorite classical music and practising yoga meditation.

The first way is to avoid stressors. But since stress is something that is really quite unavoidable, it is something that we need to indeed learn to cope with. Depending what it is that causes the stress, I attempt to address the situation. What I don't do is hold it in and do nothing. Stress is the way our organism lets us know that something is wrong. Eustress is our friend and addressing the causes of this type of stress helps us deal with life's situations. If we don't find ways to cope effectively, it becomes distress and you know the results of this. I have to say that for me, the best way to deal with stress is to avoid those thing that stress me out.
