RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is a method for distributing the latest news headlines, updates, and other changes on a regular basis to a large number of subscribers. I subscribe to RSS feeds to keep up with updates and changes to many different websites quickly and in one place. Most browsers and Home pages have RSS capability. I use my e-mail client (WLM) and Opera to read my feeds. Even myLot has it. Read this: www.mylot.com/o/rss.aspx

I think it sends "via email", the topics of interest of a person. I have yet to try RSS subscription in the many websites that have it. I think like in Lotus Notes, a person is able to go through a much smaller collection of information that is of a certain common subject matter. Perhaps for those doing research, any recent feed from the others in the same topic will automatically reach the RSS feed the subscriber. What do you think ?
