Fruits and vegetables make great and healthy snacks! You can add nuts and yogurt to the list too. Veggies can be eaten raw with a non-fat dip or dressing, or steamed. Fruits can be eaten whole or chopped/sliced/dices to make a fruit salad. You can also treat yourself to a plate of skewered raw fruits and veggies with some bite sized pieces of luncheon meats-lean of course, and chunks of non-fat cheeses in different flavors...adding a handful of nuts gives a rich and flavorful change of pace. Bon Appetit and God bless.

I suggest your friend asks her trainer to suggest a daily menu. An ideal healthy snack would be some fruit, but just fruit every two hours all day would not constitute a healthy diet as it would be missing essential elements.

I sometimes eat bread for snack with iced tea. But usually I get along with banana and a glass of milk. Milk is always there in my snacks and fruits with it like banana and sweet potato. I also eat pan cake but just a few bites only.

Hi Hotblaze, if she spends a lot of time in the gym working out, she needs more proteins to help in building up muscles and repair the body cells. How about eating eggs? If she has enough exercise, she can tolerate at least an egg everyday. She can prepare a hard boiled egg, and just eat it without adding oil or sauce or anything else. That is at least a healthy, low fat and nutritious snack.

root crops are good snacks and eat fruits before each meal to eliminate constipation.

Fruits. Apples, Bananas, and Oranges. Those trail mixes are good too with dried fruit and nuts.

I like to eat yogurt with some fruits. I specially like strawberries or raspberries. No sugar, of course. Fruit salads are also wonderful or even ,if she is very hungry, a banana.
