Do you think some dreams are tapping into a past life?

I find the concept of having a past life to be quite fascinating. Not sure how much I believe it, but really it is fascinating to say the very least. There are times where what we dream could be us partially tapping into what happened to us in a past life only slightly twisted into more familiar surroundings. It is so vivid a lot of the times but I don't remember it. But what if it did, but not in this life?

Eh... I don't believe in past lives. I don't think that my dreams are tapping into anything from a past life either. That's just a strange concept to me. I mean... did I survive a zombie apocalypse and nuke the world in a past life? I don't think I did. I love my dreams but the idea that some of them might have actually happened in a "past life" just kind of weirds me out.

Yeah dreams can be weird a lot of the time. I wonder what I was thinking about. I can really see how past lives would be a little...off putting to say the least. Of course, not as disturbing as some of the dreams might be a glimpse into the future. Because that would mean that the future has been set in stone, which is something that personally disturbs me. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

lol if my dreams had some sort of prophetic message then I would be really scared. Once again, I refer to the dream with the zombie apocalypse where I nuked the world. Don't really want that to happen. lol I don't really believe dreams have "meaning" per say. I love them, but I don't think there are any hidden subconscious, symbolic, or prophetic messages in them.

Yeah when you think about it, perhaps a small portion of our dreams are likely to have any meaning. Not that it is going to stop people from obsessing about what they mean. Because of anything, humanity in general are looking to explain the unexplained. It is one quality that I don't think will be broken any time soon.

Hi megamatt. I also find dreams fascinating. Often, not always, I would remember my dreams when I wake up and I would think about it and try to analyze what the dream was all about. There are still a lot of unexplained things out there that our science could not explain. But perhaps if we 'listen' close enough to our dreams, they could tell us something about ourselves. I'd like to think so.

Yeah, I can see what you are saying. There are a lot of things that science has not been explained. Still perhaps if we get a few clues within our dreams, we maybe can have a nice guess with what these dreams could potentially mean. It could be one of those things that are a bit of a long shot. Still I really am curious about what my dreams really are trying to tell me. I am just morbidly curious to say the least. Some of them, they are just there, but there are a lot of times where its almost like they have some deeper meaning. Thank you for your response. It contributed well. Have a nice day.
