Hi All, The last week was of upsets but this week, we had a drought. only 5 goals in 4 games compared to 11 scored in last week. Only one team managed to win its home game and that was Arsenal, and despite that, they look unlikely to qualify. Other interesting thing was that both the Milan teams lost their respective home games at San Siro by the same margin 1-0. The first leg games are over and the second leg awaits.

I think the reason for less goals in the second week has been due to the fact that all flair teams played in the first week. Arsenal, Barcelona, Tottenham are all the flair teams. Real under Mourinho, Man U this season, Bayern and Inter are all work horse teams, but not really high on flair. So this was more or less on expected lines as per my reckoning. Cheers! Ram

Like i said in other discussion. With 4 away wins, Champions League are really something. Hope some surprising things like this happens again in the next second leg. But I do really hope, away wins won't happen in Old Trafford. Since I'm a United fans :D

Like I was saying, the low number of goals is because the teams are almost at the same level and they haven't risked anything. I am sure that in the second legs more goals will be scored, because teams have to attack in order to qualify.

It was actually only the game in Rome, which contained many goals. I don't think any of the teams wanted to risk that much.

It's interesting to know that Arsenal were the only team to win their home game I myself hadn't taken much notice of this. Arsenal look unlikely to qualify though why's that they have the advantage I know it's easy for that to slip away but the odds remain in their favour until Barcelona score . The five goals can't really be consider a drought though it was quite a few less goals than the previous week.
