Yugasini- I just bought a digital scale not too long ago so I could measure out our nuts. We do almonds because we can have a larger serving of them. We try to have at least one serving a day which is recommended, though we do mixed nuts as well just to have the variety. All are good for helping to get the LDL down. Namaste-Anora

Excellent post! Pistachios also help reduce "bad" cholesterol levels. I try to alternate my nuts to get as many benefits as possible. With a little creativity, I have found that you can add nuts such as walnuts and almonds to just about anything, which makes it very easy to get a daily serving.
