in the middle lies the wisdom

human life is a mixture of two tendencies that are in constant tension with one another, the sense of adventure in onehand, and the sense of security and stability on the other. the first which pushes us to learn new things and growth. the second on which keeps us safe and reminds us to be wise in our ways. of these two however, it is always the latter one that gets the better of us. it's safe, it's convenient, it's comfortable. this is why many would choose the "comfort-zones" because it is the path of least resistance however, it is also the path of least learning and growth as a person. what is your take on this??

I think we live more in the adventure side of things when young and then as we grow old we tend to balance the adventure and the stable side of things more. As we grow older the one side is more than the other. Responsibilities come up and we have to be more secure and take care of them.

My life has been the bumpy, inconvenient road with much pain, suffering, martyrdom enduring agony, grief, anxiety andtotally exhaustion conditions. I've learnt many skills during my 52 years of living. I like to make changes in my life, which is mainly seen as being uncomfortable from other people. I like to explore new areas to make new discoveries take part of new theories. I love to be there for people, which can be challenging and sometimes demanding. I like to be "a jack of all trades", learning the basic in new areas while using my full potential developing new skills.

that's right for me the most uncomfortable part of life is when you try to change something and rediricting a course taken to make things right. but because of fear and shame we tend to pull back hindering our potentials to grow...

I agree sometimes the middle is the best place to be. But at some point you have to go in a direction, staying in the middle and being 'safe' is not a direction. Life is well hard but making mistakes is how you're going to learn to juggle it all. You'll teach yourself when to stay in the middle or when to take a direction. you have voice so you should USE it exercise it take a side. Its really a beautiful thing so don't take the path of least resistance.

The security and stability must be the first thing of all... we can learn everything safty and we have to be very wise in our life... I think that the most important is to be happy in your way and to live comfortable with yourself

"the road less travelled by" by robert frost comes to mind. it says, i chose the road less travelled by, and it has made the difference. one couldn't be too adventurous or careful all the time. in some cases, one should either choose to be different, or simply go with the flow. personally, it depends on the situation. on situations that i could be quite adventurous, then i'd go for the uncertain. but in some instances, when someone or something else is involved, when the stakes are too high, i might opt for the safer alternative.

Adventure and security, stability. Man couldn't have them both. But most of people like to choose to stay at the "comfort-zones". For myself, I don't like to take adventure, either. Everything has two sides. Security and stability may make your life feel boring, however, adventure may make your life more interesting, but it always cost sacrifices. Some people like to stay at their "comfort-zones", and some people can't live without adventures. We can't say which one is better, but we do can say which one is better for ourself.
