Hi All, I'm planning to sell online. So, I need a new cellphone and a new digital camera. I wonder that I should buy a new digital camera or a cellphone with a good camera? I can buy a new cellphone with two SIM cards and a good camera. I can combine them in one. And I can save a little money instead of buying a new cellphone and a new digital camera. So, I can use it everywhere I like. How do you think about this? Do you have experience in this situation? Please advice.

If you are looking for a quality picture, you should buy a good digital camera. It have a better quality. A 8MP digital camera produce better picture compares to 8MP cellphone camera. It does cost you a bit more by buying a new digital camera, but it is worth the price and you will not regret it at all. If it is me, I will buy a cheap handphone as long as I can make a call and text message and then buy myself a very good digital camera to capture picture in high quality. And that is what I have done.

Oh definitely a good DSLR camera if you can afford it, you need a camera where you can take close up photos for small objects.. DSLR cameras are wonderful.

I would never choose to use a phone for a camera except for very throwaway kind of pictures. like if I see something in a shop I think someone would like, I take a picture on my phone as it's easy to send it to them. and it is nice to have the camera on the phone for those occasions when you see something good, but don't have a camera with you. but it's never going to be a good quality photo. for pictures you want to keep, you definitely want a camera. it gives you a lot more control over the pictures you take, as the options with on phone cameras are always very limited. even a basic camera will take much better photos than a phone. I think the best option is to get a camera now, as good a camera as you can afford. I recently treated myself to a DSLR, which I have wanted for years, and I am so so happy with the photographs. I don't think it can take a bad picture. so I think, as long as your phone is still working, stick with the old phone for a bit longer, and put all the money into getting a good camera. a good camera will give you a lot more pleasure than a new phone, which isn't really that exciting. a new and good camera will give you a lot more pleasure than a new phone.

The quality of your pictures will be much better if you get a camera. Of course if you are just going to be taking pictures for fun that you don't mind being taken with the lower resolution camera phone then I would say go with the phone.

A good camera would be a wise investment since you're planning to sell online.

Yes you can have it all but you want to save a little money, then buy a cellphone that have a good camera and have two sim card to insert. Camera is a good device for a photo shots because of the pixels, it depends on it and there are some cellphones that have a bad camera. But you can really save a little money in your pocket when the devices can be combine in one. So, i prefer to a cellphone that have a good camera. good luck

I thought like you,use the phone camera for to sell item, but then I found I had to buy cable to connect to computer, then it cost me .50 cents a picture to download. go with the good camera.

if you want good pictures,go for the camera.even the best cellphone still doesn't produce quite the same quality as a standalone digital camera.

It really depends on where you would use the camera.. Cause if it's just for taking pictures of the things that you will sell, I guess the camera phone would be okay.. but if you plan to use it for other purpose, then I will say that buying a separate digital camera is the better option, because it has more options and more ways for you to tinker with your photographs unlike when you use your camera phone.

i think i would go for the whole package. meaning, i prefer buying a new phone with a good camera since it's all-in-one that i liked. imagine buying a new camera, separate in buying a new phone? it's expensive right? so it's a wise choice to buy a phone with a good camera rather than just buying a single camera. but it's still all up to you to decide. good luck my friend!

hi there. this past few days i have been thinking if i should get a new digital camera or not because i will be getting my new phone very soon. it is a nice phone but the camera is not really that good. but i think i will just stick to the phone so i can also save money. but yeah i think it is better to just get a good phone WITH a camera then but a phone and also a digital camera. but for some of us who also have enough money to get a new digital camera and also a new phone then i think it is also good, it is also their choice :)

I think that a good digital camera will be better to purchase. You will be posting photos on the net and they should look fair, or good even. There is something with good photos that attracts potential customers. I think that you do not need a new phone now. You can buy one from the earnings that you would get from your soon to start online selling business.

I good camera is very important to capture those precious moments. Cellular phones are primary made for communication - call and text perhaps. Find a good camera and keep your phone. The problem of having a cellular phone with camera is that if you lost your cellular phone.. both items you needed are gone.
