Commemorating Serangan Oemoem 1 March (SO 1 March) in 1949 along Jalan Malioboro, decorated with hundreds Penjor & Kembar Mayang from Janur Kuning. Janurkuning is, the sign used by the warriors, when the Dutch invaded in Yogyakarta, 62 years ago. What about your area?

Seems to be no celebration to commemorate. At school my nephew, also did not commemorate.

i don't see any celebration in my area. or even the flag. but i see many army are celebrate it by doing ceremony this morning. maybe our feeling of nationality has reduce

In an area where I live, I do not see any celebration. Maybe school students commemorate this day.

In Jakarta, serangan oemoem 1 March, celebrated with the rain that kept pouring. Had been estimated that, if rains continuously for 3 days, Jakarta will be flooded!
