Have you ever experience that you only have only few bucks in your pocket? When you don't have enough money to buy yourself a dinner, not even a burger. And you paycheck wasn't come yet, not until Friday. You just pray that some miracle might happen. A friend of mine actually experience such horrible experience, and he simply out of money after rents and utility bills. He used that last $10 for his last night meal, and he simply washed out. I was quite sympathetic to his situation, and I was willing to let him borrow $20 more. Maybe good friend should help each other when they are in trouble, and I am financial capable to do so too. That is good friend for right?

It is how I feel most of the time. I get about 100 hundred dollars to spend for two weeks so I have to spend on food, I don't get to have anything to spend after I do two weeks of food shopping.

that's very nice of you you are a great friend. I think its also important not to be taken advantage of so make sure that you are not always lending and covering payments. Friends care for each other and help out when we can but its more about accepting people for who they are not how much they earn and enjoying their company... without spending alot of cash. If i was a true friend i would feel uncomfortable scabbing money all the time. i do feel sorry for your friend but have been in this situation before maybe more than once.

Hey kingparker. Yes, that's what being a good friend is. I'm glad to hear you're still able to open your heart (& wallet) to a friend in need, given your recent experiences with friends misusing/abusing your kindness. I trust your judgment - if you say this friend is trustworthy, and deserving of another loan, then go ahead and be a better friend to him. I don't know if you believe in God at all, but trust me when I say He approves of your take on friendship.

Well, I don't come from a well-off family and to be blunt, I always experience that in my married life. What we do is just to make the means reach till next payday. If it won't reach till next payday, I have to ask for help from friends and relatives, that's why I'm keeping myself busy earning online just to help my husband with the financial situation.

Yeah, most of the time. Since living is really hard nowadays and we have to make ends meet at all times, we usually experience this. But thank God for our parents and few trusted friends that's always there to help us out in these situations.
