earning money online as a legitimate income

I realized that most users here are also money sharks when it comes to online money-making. I here a lot of things about Google Adsense, eHow articles, Youtube videos, and how you make money from those sites. Is it possible to earn legitimately online? Is anyone here doing it already? What I mean is you're paying your bills and other expenses with the money you're earning online and nothing else. I have a day job but it's getting pretty hectic for me to earn alone so my wife is considering this opportunity if it's possible. If there's anyone here who's earning a stable income online, can you give some tips and point us to the right direction?

This is a good question!! I know of a few people who are doing just this, however I dont know how they are doing it. I have been trying to find ways as well to earn enough to pay bills, ect. However, most of the things I find online are scams and only are wanting to get your money, then never pay you what they are suppose to do

Yes you are right, it is very difficult to earn online legitimately. And it is also a very difficult profession to be taken as a full time job. But if it is taken up as part time job, you cannot expect it to help you more than pay your bills. I have a full time job and what i earn online is peanuts. But its just a time pass for me - a healthy time pass where i make few cents.

Yes, myLot does pay, but to earn you have to really be active on the site. If you want passive income than, you need to have plenty of referrals who are active on myLot.

Such a Nice Discussion, Actually Its all Depends where are you from, or How Much You need, For me, I have a Dream of $100 per month because its big money for me, to stay alive & enjoy Internet, (I am from Pakistan) But if you asks any US one??? He/she says, we need $1000 Per Month & yes Thats Nearly Impossible for someone to Earn $1000 By Internet Without any Investment & Hardwork, Anyway, Thanks for Allah, I Got $30-$40 By Internet & as a Student its Enough me to stay alive, but not freely like I mention above I Need $100, I Do Data Entry Work, & Got $1.00 Per Day. so Yes, I Say I Earn some decent $$$ From Web & Live my life from Online money, in Last Sorry for My Broking & Bad English, have a nice day.

Hello.
There are legit sites here where you can earn A decent amount. All your wife needs is be patient.
She can try writing articles as a freelance writer or submit them in sites where they pay for page views.
Also,she can try doing task in CLOUDCROWD and MICROWORKERS. Depending on her skills, she can earn as much as she wants giving efforts and time to do online jobs.

If your wife has any interest in graphics, art or photography she may wish to try opening a Zazzle store. Zazzle is a site where you can design products to sell online through your own personalised e-store in order to earn from them. it takes work and a bit of learning to understand how to market your products, and you may want to learn to use some editing software like serif photo editor or Photoshop, but amongst the success stories are people who have quit their day jobs because they earn more from their Zazzle store. this is a rarity but it shows that such earnings can be made online.
if you're interested the site is zazzle.com or .co.uk if you are uk based, though you can sell all over the world regardless of where you live.

basically, the way zazzle works is that they provide the physical product, eg t-shirts, mugs, etc and then you place your own design on those products.
You cannot sell your own handmade products through your zazzle store, only products you have designed on zazzle.
However, you could make a separate private website of your own through which you could sell your own objects and also display your zazzle products alongside them. zazzle has a feature whereby you can display your designed products in linked boxes on other websites so you could have all your products together.
Alternatively, have you tried selling your home made products on e-bay?
