In my school days and college days I used have bubble gums I chew it again and again even after all those sweetness has gone. I chew bubble gums while playing football, tennis or other sports. I chew in the class room making sure the teacher or professors do not see it. I hope it is a good exercise for the chins and teeth. I chew it while driving alone and also in between enjoys the music. But nowadays I hardly have it.

Look what you have started Shamrack, after reading your discussion I actually got up and got a Bubble Gum and then came back to give my input Love chewing gum since it stops me from biting my lips...yeah I am a lip biter, so with something in my mouth it keeps my mouth happy.

I do like bubble gum. I don't get it as much as I would like though. If my girls find out that I have any, it's gone before I know it.

I do not like gum at all. I never allowed my kids to have it either. One day i was visiting my sons house at that time his daughter was 2yrs old. When i got up to leave i discovered i had been sitting on a wad of gum. I was now stuck to the chair. I was wearing white shorts. They had to be thrown away becuase the gum never came out. I just looked at my son and said,"That is why i never allowed you guys to have gum." The other day im riding the city bus. There are 2 little girls sitting across from me. They each have a bottle of soda and are chewing gum. One of them takes the gum out of her mouth and starts playing with it. Before long its ALL OVER. In her fingers, hair, the bus seat, etc. It was a mess. Im thinking why did the mom not stop this gum playing. The next person is gonna come in and sit in the gum. People do not dispose of the stuff properly. They should save the foil and not only dispose of it in the wrapper but in a waste basket. I hate it when i step on the stuff especially when im wearing my good shoes. I also hate when they stick it on the under side of tables.

well, i chew gum when I'm bored. I find it amusing being able to make big bubbles out of it! It's also a good exercise for the facial muscle but do not forget to rinse your mouth after, as it will cause dental cavities.

When I was a child, I liked bubble gums because it was fun. Now I haven't tried bubble gums for quite a long time. It is not because I already grow up. I just think it is not healthy to try this kind of snake any more. I love China

I used to like chewing gums when i was in elementary but then i suffered from sever toothache my mom had to rush me to the dentist at that time. From then on i hardly chew gum. I also noticed that when i chew gum i get hungry. It's good to chew gum once in awhile to prevent bad breath because it stimulates the saliva.

When it comes to gum chewing, i do like my bubble gum. It is still fun to chew and blow bubbles long after the flavor has gone. i usually end up getting another piece to chew by then anyway. Chewing bubble gum can follow me into any activity. this is something that has followed me from childhood into adulthood. I may not chew it as much as i did as a child, but it is something that i still enjoy.

I used to love it when I was a kid but only until the flavour has gone, and it tends to make me feel hungry, I was told that is because it is teasing your stomach, when you chew your stomach expects to get something...so I don't buy them anymore...

When I was little I like to buy chewing gum because the packaging have like comic skits and I love to read them. Nowadays, because I hate the feeling of painful jaw I just suck the gum like a candy and throw it away when the flavor is gone.

Hi Same here. I used to chew it ,it was like some fashion/style. Once our lecturer took a class about chewing the gum and how we do it like the buffalo or the animals do. Hmm it was such a serious class i stopped eating/chewing it.

I can't stand it. If I am going to chew something, it has to be something I can swallow after I chew it a couple of times. I do not like the texture or the taste of bubblegum, or any other kind of gum.

I used to regularly chew gum when I was a teenager. But after I had kids of my own, I didn't have even one for a very very long time. My older son is 10 and he re-introduced me to chewing gum again last year. And we have it sometimes. I don't know about the exercise bit but it keeps my mouth fresh. I can blow a bubble with a bubble gum which my son still can't do. He keeps asking me how to do it and is still trying to figure out :)

I don't liek chewing gums very much. There was an exception though, I wanted to chew gums when I was pregnant becaue I always felt nausea and had sickness all the time, I liked to chew something like gums, it made ne feel better and not want to throw up so much. Other than that, I don't like chewing gums at all.

Hi Shamrack, Yes. I love bubble gums especially when i was still a kid. I enjoyed those colorful bubble gums as it gave color to your tongue, teeth and even you lips. Now i seldom have it. The last time I had it was when I came to the US. It helped me out releaneased air from my ears due to the pressure from my air travel. I agree with you. It's an exercise also good for the jaw.

I don't like chewing gums that much. What i like is eating candies with mint flavor. I like the feeling of freshness it gives me. :) I am not sure though if chewing gum is a good exercise for the chin and teeth, i am not really familiar with that. But i hope you can chew gum some time in the future so that you can also reminisce and relive your childhood days and school days. :)

hahaha! what a good story baiting you've published because you closed it with "But nowadays I hardly have it.". Very interesting story of yours about chewing gum, I liked it! Whatever, another good story about chewing gum is the business owner (manufacturer) made billion of money just because of producing and selling chewing gum. This is the best part about chewing gum.
