is popcorn irresistable?

Good day to you Fellow Mylotter,
Just a quick one, I am wondering why there are some foods that when you have started eating them, you will not stop until it is finished.
I noticed this behavior when we cooked a popcorn in our home. The popcorn that we have cooked was too many and it almost filled in a 2 liter size canister. To my surprise, we just ate the popcorn in one day. That, at first, I was thinking, it will last for 2 to 3 days since it was too many when it was cooked.
With reference to the above, is there any reason why when you have started eating the popcorn, you cannot stop until it is finished? Is it really irresistable to eat?

Your family loves popcorn, that's why. Sometimes when we like something we don't really stop eating until it's gone. Well, that's good, at least, you can bond while eating popcorn. My family also love eating popcorn while watching DVD movies on Saturday nights, it's our bonding moment and I appreciate those precious moments.

I have this experience with French chips 
Popcorn is great but I rarely eat them much. Because they have much butter.

in reality it is time that i did not eat pop corn now bu yes they are super tasting food...i don't know if they are irresistible because probably i can resist to them..but they are ok the same..

There are lots of food that is irresistable, eating the first bite is all it takes, then you just want more of it until it is all gone espcially for those addictive junk food. I used to like popcorn a lot when I went to the cinema, I had to buy popcorn everytime when I went to the movies and started eating as soon as I sat down, sometimes I finished it before the movie started...

I eat this ingredient food by few time.For me is more irresistable an friend of pop corn,corn flake.In this case I eat this type of food with a great pleasure.

Maybe. But there are really foods that when you started eating, you can't stop it until it's gone. I have that kind of situation too but not in popcorn. There was this chips that when I first tasted it, I want to eat them all at once. Though the chip's bag is so big, I still managed to eat them all in a couple of minutes. LOL

I like popcorn sometimes, but my husband absolutely loves it. A friend of ours moved from his large house into a smaller apartment, and did not have room for the stuff that he did not need, so he gave us a bunch of it, including a popcorn maker. We love using it. So much better than microwave popcorn.
