summer time. . . beach time

Philippines

It is summer once again and it seems almost everyone is hitting the beach. If you are going to the beach, are you the type who spend it leisurely? As in you just soak up some sun, enjoy the view and do some people watching and relax. Or are you the type that do everything under the sun like jet ski, kayak, play beach volleyball, swim, snorkel, etc until their skin is so red that they cannot move anymore? hahaha...

He's from the tropics so most of the time its summer. We just have two seasons, Rainy season and Dry Season (I think). As a tradition, "summer" is set on the end of March! It is not determined by the climate or the weather! Summer is when everyone is on vacation.

well, I realize that some places consider Texas as tropical or semi-tropical, but we do have more traditional weather patterns...

I'll just send you our pictures this summer so that you can imagine yourself being in a beach under the scorching sun. That way, you won't get cold anymore even if it is still cold over there... hehehe...

I am at the beach right now. I moved down here for the summer to work. so before I go to work I can go to the beach and wake up and refresh or I can go after work and wind down reading a good book. On days off Ive been boogie boarding and learning to skimboard there are a lot of other things I would love to do this summer.

Hi. doggydimon. I am the type that likes to relax and watch the view. I also enjoy feeling the beach air all over my skin. I would love to get me a cold drink and just sit and enjoy my time while I am at the beach. I don't like sitting in the sun for long periods of time. I think that I would rather walk and visit many store fronts at the beach.

Summer? i dont know where you are but over here we are still in winter, well no entering into spring so hopefully the weather will start to get nice soon and maybe nice enough for us to even go to to the beach and enjoy soaking up some fun and probably some beach sports like jet sking and others but untill then its still cold so the beach is definatly a no go for us . I would love to know where are you from and how long does your summer last cause it just the begining of march and you already got the summer going.

I forgot... There are others who are still enjoying or dreading the snow. But here in the Philippines, we don't have winter. Summer starts at March and ends in May. We have 3 months to enjoy the sun and the beach.

in the philippines and other tropical countries, the month of march marks the beginning of the dry season - SUMMER. I love to go to the beach during summer time, swim and try the water sports available. Tried jet ski and snorkeling in mactan, island, cebu, purto gallera and in boracay. Island hopping is also nice. Especially you can see dolphins welcoming in your travel. I usually spent 2-3 days in the resort for long travels. Swim till i turn red. lol Swim wear and skin products are now in the department store for grabs.

Ahhh...Boracay... It sure is a haven for water sports enthusiast like yourself. Try parasailing or kite boarding next time. I think it is quite fun to learn that. If I go back to Boracay, I will definitely try those. hehehe...

It is winter here just coming into spring. Some countries have a hot and wet season and a hot and dry season. We have spring from March to May, summer from June to August, autumn from September to December and winter from November to February. I am pleased to hear that it is now summer in your home country. At my local beaches it isn't possible to swim due to sinking mud and dangerous tides. I love to travel to different beaches where I can swim and snorkel around a coral reef. I enjoy walking along the coastline and seeing the picturesque views.

I love the beach, lived near it for 20 years, and travel to it usually once or twice a year. Usually I spend my beach time with my daughter, she loves it too lol. We normally take the radio, some snacks, and lots of water. Lay out our towels or blanket, soak up some sun, go for a swim, and people watch. We just relax and enjoy the day. I love having the sun-kissed tan of summer.

We still have snow, so when we visit the beach we usually go for a walk wearing a big coat, a scarf, a warm hat and some gloves I really look forward to the summer months when I will be able to swim and enjoy the sun. I write short stories and poems and I like to write at the beach so I usually bring my notebook when I am going to the beach. If I have to study for an exam I also like to bring my books and my notes and study while I enjoy the sun. Sometimes I like to try other things of activities like kayaking, but I don't have my own kayak.

I am taking my kids for a beach weekend later this month. It is only spring but it will be less crowded and a great way to spend a weekend. We cannot wait.

I had snow yesterday, so I am not at all ready for summer, and I am stuck in the midwest (US) for spring break due to money. Summer cannot get her fast enough. Not close to a real beach but love having the sprinkler going and playing in it with my daughter and going to parks.

Well, I'm the type of person who goes to the beach and buys drinks. I usually just sit in a cottage or find a shady spot with my drink, and watch people come and go. I just love feeling relaxed and stress free. Summer's fast approaching and I can't wait to do these things!
