Actually I like to share my internet with someone else. So we can share the internet fee and both of us will be benefical from it. I ever posted such a notice on the wall. But none of my neighbors seemed to be interested in it.

Most of them prefer free unlimited access, and are not prepared to fork out any money. I was like you, so I left my WiFi network unsecured. More than 20 people latched on to the network. A few did a continuous video streaming. I approached several of them with the proposal of fee sharing. All except for one denied ever latching on to the network. I was not even asking for equal contribution. I had no choice but to secure the network. That did not stop a few of them from trying to breach the firewall. Good luck in finding a considerate neighbour.

Hi youless, I like to share my internet together with my friends. I invite them to use my desktop and get on the internet at my house whenever they come across interruption of current or internet connection. I seldom use my desktop after having notebook The network still works well when two pcs are online at the same time. Surely I would like to share my internet with someone for we can share the monthly subscription as well It's rather frugal right?! But all my neighbors living nearby are elderly and dislike to get on internet. They all are very fond of watching tv program and playing mahjong. Their adult children work and study in outstation or oversea respectively. They will back to home on festival or holiday only. Happy posting

just like me, watching tv is no longer my favorite hobby like before. Nowadays I work, monitor stock market, acquire latest news, watching tv series as well as movies, booking ticket, etc. A laptop and internet service is enough for me to spend my whole day I wonder why they don't have any interest in this. Might be they are reluctant to move forward to learn new technology and satisfied with the existing state affairs I suppose

If your elderly neighbors can know how to take advantage of the computer and internet, then they don't need to have TV

Since I have a wireless router at home. So if my neighbor likes to access internet through my internet connection, it can work if I share theh password. So we can also share the internet fee. Happy Women's Day

No I will not share the internet connection with someone else. This will effect my data usage.Unless if they are willing to share the bills then perhaps I will make some consideration. Otherwise I won't share with them.

I used to share my internet with my bf. But now that we broke up, I end up paying alone again. Sharing your net is good because you can also share the bill.

me i wont share my internet. i dont like to have problems regarding paying the fees. when i was still single, i tried sharing cable for the televison. then after a few months i had problem on asking their share of payment for they say they dont use it. i had experience already with that so i rather not share anymore. and i know when you share the internet it will slow... not sure if that is true but i rather not share.

That's so bad that they don't share the internet bills on time willingly.

I definitely don't mind sharing my internet with someone else. So long as it's someone that I can trust. Otherwise, I might be a little more hesitant.

I think it would be great to share service and fees with someone you trusted. I might be a little nervous about it being with someone I didn't know. They might be doing something they weren't supposed to and get me in trouble

I think sharing it with neighbors are OK. The wireless internet service has a range and therefore I can't share it with anybody who lives far from me.

Hi, I am willing to share my internet service with my neighbour,it is a way to save cost and yet we can fully utilised the service at the same time. But not all people are willing to share their things with others. Especially for internet service, if both parties are using at the same time, it may affect the speed. Since your neighbours are not interested, for the time being, you have to bear the cost alone, take those unlimited service which is more worthy.

If they don't watch the online movies or download large stuff, I think the internet connection will be fine anyway.

I can only assume that they would not share because it will inflict the internet security as well cause way too much traffic and the speed would be too slow. These are the reason most of us, in my building and many others that I know of that put a password to prevent any insecurity and or slow speed.

No I don't like to share my internet because I know if in a single Computer virus is there then its spread in all over Computer and then problems are arise in my Computer also and I don't like it. Without internet I cant do anything. Sometime even an antivirus program is there but if the Virus is most powerful then no protect by antivirus program also. Thanks to discuss on this topic Have a nice day

Actually I am not so worried about the computer virus. In the past I even didn't have anti-virus software in my computer.

sharing internet with others can cause slower connection on the net, better think of it. Plus it violates your application form with the server when you apply for a single PC and yet share it with others. but some who are lack of budget to pay for the monthly bill usually do this. it's you're own choice

If they don't watch movies or download by BT, I think it's OK to share the internet connection.

Not as long as I live in the building I'm living in now. I have been having some major problems with my neighbours, and if they want to borrow or share my internet, they'd better shape up. However, if I still lived in my old neighbourhood, I'd gladly share, but not where i am living now.

It sounds like that you don't really get on well with your current neighbors.
