Last Monday I and my relative were just have a small shopping in the city. We took Monday as we thought as there would not be any rush. On our way to the entry to the parking area of the mall, another car crashed with our car. The door was jammed. The person inside it did not come out. We just went near the driver, he was around 30 years. As we came near he admitted his fault and apologized. With him we went to the car insurance where he also paid us the amount that we have to pay. This is first time I has seen someone who in an accident admitted the fault and apologizing and finally paying the repair and replacement amount. There was no shouting nor did quarreling all went smooth. I feel at times if there is fault it is better to admit, may be for betterment of both the sides.

My son experienced also that his car was bumped by a lady driver at the parking lot. She immediately apologized to my son and asked how much will be the repair cost and paid immediately when the amount was pronounced. My son didn't argue anymore and brought his car to a nearby repair shop. Well, if people are honest to their mistakes, troubles will not be encountered. I believe that arguments are delaying tactics and wanted to escape from responsibility.

hello sham, Of course, being a driver one must know if it is his/her fault or not. I did it once. I bumped a van when i was trying to make a reverse parking, and i know it was my fault. I even searched who owns the vehicle and pay the damaged. There is not use of arguing if you know it was your fault in the first place. But,i always argue with traffic enforcer trying to give me road violations which i know i never did.(for bribe) Have a great day

If the fault is clear it is better to admit, moreover in accident cases. Thank you for nice responds.

My father had a similar incident once when someone crashed into his car. There were no fights and the other person quietly paid for damages. My father also did the same once....though I felt it was not really my dad's fault because the other person was speeding. But my dad's logic was that we also need to be prepared and should be alert which he wasn't.

Really that happened. Wow, it would be nice if people would be as calm as that man. The world will be a better place if it is full of people who can do like that- admit their faults and their responsibility.
