After the Pakistan match, the confidence of the team New Zealand will be at the top.. They really needed some miracle to happen and it happened.. Pakistanis made a mess of many chances they had at the first and then the New Zea landers capitalized in the latter overs and put up a big total.. and in the end won the match easily..
Now they will put up a good show in the quarter finals..

Yes, it was good to see New Zealand finally play well against a top team. But I still feel it was a one off performance rather than a sustained resurgence. The reason is that it was riding on one power packed innings from Taylor and poor fielding by Pakistan. I will rather want to see them win against the likes of Sri Lanka before I think they are back with the top teams.
