11 Cats at home..

yeha ..rite..
i have 11 cats at home..its started with 1 then multiply..
i might have more than 11 if i never gave some away to friends and neighbours
is this too many cats??
how many cats do u have at home..most people have one or two i think..

Hi there,
Right now I live in 2 bedroom apartment and I, too, have 11 cats inside. 
Actually there are 10 full time indoor kitties and another that's my indoor/outdoor kitty.
I tell my boyfriend that I don't have too many cats, but I have too small of a home. In my opinion, it's not how many cats one has but how big or small of a living space they have. 
Oh, by the way, there are at least 10 more kitties that live outside of my place that I also feed. I wish I had someone like you as a neighbor. There would most likely be a lot less outdoor strays.
All of the cats that I have were outdoors in need of a home. I just can't say no.

It gets a little crammed at times but for the most part, we're comfortable.
Funny thing is, there could be 5 or 6 cats in my bedroom at the same time, like right now as I speak and there's plenty of room for everybody. They really don't take up that much space.
However, a bigger home would probably be easier for all.
I'm like you, I could never imagine giving any of my babies away. They're my babies - I love them too much.

Apartments..wow thats hard..
i got a house..so most time theyre at the backyard..playing.sleeping..whatever..lol
but bigger house means more space for both parties.
i too ended up with lots of cats..because i cant imagine giving them away in the streets or gas stations and knowing the might starve or get hit by a car..

Wow 11 cats?? So cool. I don't even own a cat. I'm scared of cats tbh. I feel like they're about to attack me and i fear their claws. I love looking at them though. They're nice and fluffy.

yeha.. they will eventually reveal their sharp claws..even as young as 3 weeks..during play with ur hands..so its hard to avoid being claw by a cat..
try get one..hopefully u get the sleepy type..thatjust wanna sleep and carried around by you..would be fun.

Wow that's alot considering i only get to have one.But if you can take care of them then it's not too many.The most important thing is the cats being happy and since they are all still there says alot.I wish i was living on my own to have at least two cats.I am waiting to see if my Twinkle will give me grand-kitties.I am happy you care so much to have given them a home.

yeah..i wanted to keep as few as possible at first..but sometimes some kitten stayed with me too long..that when its time to get rid of em i just cant say goodbye to them.
so i just keep em.
theyre just animals..need love and food.. will never steal my wallet or betray me for some evil reasons ..lol

hi rafiholmes,
As of now i have 18 cats suppose to be they should be 21 but last December 2010 my three adopted kittens stow away and i cannot find them 
, my cats are freely roaming around in our compound area.
I also started to adopt one abused cat then i just found out that she is a female one i cannot throw her or give her away because she is so cute so i decided to keep her and then she multiply and i have bunch of cats now.

11 cats at home, wow that would be very busy to feed him. I have 4 cats and it makes me dizzy, especially when they ran surely make a mess of the house. how you can live it with 11 cats?

thankfully we got a backyard.. put all cats at the back..we let them loose in house for few hours each day..and we dont really have vases or anything that might fall and break if they went biserk jumpin aorund
