Fake food

I know that these days there are so many things being counterfeited. But to me, the most feared is fake food.
I have heard of the rubber squid, fake eggs, and now is fake rice!
I remember once I went to buy pepper. Pepper was wrapped in plastic bags and when opened, they did not have any smell of the pepper. They only like black pepper only. I finally had to throw them and use only the pepper is brought from my mother.
Why is there evil people who do fake food? When will I be able to escape the fear of buying fake foods?

I haven't encountered a fake food yet.
When it comes to food, i make sure that i have the best quality. When i market, i try to scrutinize them. That way, i am assured that what i am buying are fresh and would make a delicious recipe.

We only scrutinize them in our private power. And we sometimes don't known all things in order that we're sure that they're good. However, we should try to choose them more and more carefully.

I've never heard of the news about fake rice. If that is true then that is very disturbing becasue rice is a staple food in my house. I eat it at least two times a day.
I bought some foods in the market though that taste nothing like what it is supposed to be. I know exactly what you are talking about the pepper. I bought peppers before that was also in plastic and it taste nothing like peppers. I think spices in genereal when bought in the market specially when it's already ground taste like sawdust.

Fake rice is alike real, we can't tell them part. But after we cook them, they're still hard and we can't enjoy them.

Hi there,
There is possibility that your food stuff is fake. Last year in many cities in India media people detected fake milk and products made of fake milk.
Even if you over look other things you can not take them for granted. So my suggestion is to buy things from a trusted source only.

They can fake anything. I heart that they use cassava, sweet potato and some other materials to make fake rice. I have never seen how they do, but fake rice is alike real. And we only know they're fake after we cooked them.

That's very scary! There should be laws that penalize people who make and sell those things.

Yes, It's really scary. There were many method and law to solve this issue. However, it's not successful. I think that we need more strong ways.

Thats a horrible news, even my friend was also bought fake food she bought a piece of siopao when she cut the siopao instead of meat it contents was crushed paper... I think we should be critical of all the things we want to buy especially in foods.
