Preventing or Curing Nuclear Radiation

We have read that Tsunami in Japan cause their Nuclear reactor damages and explode. The dangerous think is not the explotion but the radiation because it can spread out to other part of world. Let's help Japanese people and it surrounding to prevent or at least reduce the effect of its radiation. If there anyof you have a great way Please let we share here to prevent or curing the effect of radiation. I have read that sunflower (Helianthus Anuus L) not only its seed, all parts of the yellow ornament can be use as a drug ingredient that can neutralize the effect of radiation from nuclear

I think this is a great wake up call to governments across the world that maybe we should be turning away from cheap nuclear energy and trying to implement safer natural energy such as solar and wind. I'm hoping that the effect of the radiation is not too widespread and that those affected survive to live long healthy lives.

Iodine pills is what I'm reading in other discussions. Also sea vegatables as they are high in iodine, will clean out your system over long term. Stick to a diet high in whole grains and no processed grains or foods high in sugar as well.
