We have been hit by landslide

Last March 16 at around 12midnight, we were in a great panic as our neighbors smashed the wall of our house just to wake us up. They told us to get out of the house because their home have been already destroyed because of landslide. We immediately run outside and stayed in the basketball court of our barangay. We watched closely as the great mass of land covered and destroyed properties including our neighbor's precious homes. I am so thankful that despite of the loss of our belongings and our homes, we are still alive and that we will still embrace what tomorrow will bring us....

hello, This is really scary. Thanks to your neighbor that gives you the warning. Hope everyone is fine in your locality. How was your situation right in there now?

so sorry to hear about this experience of yours. by the way, are you from Philippines? i just thought you are from here because of the term you used, "barangay". anyhow... i hope you and your family get through this together stronger and with determination. trials come in our lives and we could always choose to sulk but there is still the word going on and moving on... Im sure God prepared a better house forr you and your family.

While reading your topic, I was really wondering if that is the first time that has happened in your area. I mean, was it the first time that landslide happened? or is that a usual thing. If it is the latter, then my next question would be "why stay in that area?" Otherwise, I guess it's one of those things that don't really happen a lot and when it does it is really something nobody is really ready for. It's good that nothing happened to anyone that is so devastating. I know losing everything is painful enough, but at least everyone is alive. It's good that neighbors woke you up, I guess you and your family are lucky to have those types of people around. So, what's the next step for your area and your family? Would you still stay there?

So sad to hear that, and thank God nothing harm happened to you, well I guess you have to relocate into safer place, in order not to experience that again. Don't risk your lives in a location that is unsafe to live in
