Hi Friends, I prefer to meet my friends face to face as long as it is possible but for the friends who are not in the same city, will have to go on Facebook to meet them. I understand it is easy to visit Facebook and chat with friends but I will always prefer to meet friends face to face and not on facebook if possible. What about you?

I can't agree with you more.because Man's heart is incomprehensible, you can't ensure he/she is what kind of person.and face to face can strengthen the feeling with people.so why not ?

I also love to meet my friends personally, however, my friends live far away from me. If it is just for a little chat, we can do it thru YM or Facebook or even a video call thru Skype. If I get the chance to visit the city, I always make sure to pay them a visit.

Hi junrapmian: You have mentioned another amazing way to be in contact with your friends. Skype! I use it too whenever I need to talk with my friends that live out from my city. Skype is great too, but there's nothing better than having the possibility to talk to your friends personally. ALVARO

Very good point, Even I try to connect to friends on Skype and Yahoo but still it is not better than face to face meeting. I would always prefer to meet face to face. Thank You for sharing.

Most of my friends are here at My Lot. They are all scattered around the world. I am not on facebook and I won't be.

I'm like you - I'd prefer a personal meet up anytime. A phone call will always be better compared to facebook, I mean if that's possible. With Skype & MSN, webcams have definitely brought a revolutionary change, yet at times, video conferencing can still be very artificial & superficial, haha!~Face to face, that's still the best way to go

Yes, even a phone call is better than Facebook. I would prefer face to face or second option

Hi Ajay Singh Baghel: Same happends to me. Facebook can't replace physical contact. You don't enhoy the same when you are in front of a computer than when you are really in the same place with your friends. Facebook is a nice tool and it help people to be as closest as possible but if we can have a reuniopn with my friends there's no doubt that I'd prefer face to face. ALVARO

I have not been able to meet many friends of mine from so long, not even using Facebook as do not get time to go there. I will try to connect with them face to face. Thank you for sharing.

I prefer to meet friends in person too. I just think that society know is so detached. People now are not that touchy touchy. I'm very affectionate so I have to adjust when meeting new people. For me hugging is just normal but for some they may see it the wrong way. They might think that you are invading their personal space or something. Facebook is good to though. I think convenience and the anonymity is what attracts users to use it. Although you are not really anonymous in facebook there is still the feeling that you can say something that you might not otherwise say in person.

Hugging can be interpreted in different way depending on the culture. In my country it is not very common to hug when meeting. Thank You for sharing.

Seeing is believing. So far as making the acquaintance of somebody is concerned It is not enough for us just to see the facebook. The face to face is most vivid and concrete instead of that sort of plane and dissemble like facebook. Here in china, there is a old saying:"I profit more from one consultation with you than from ten years of reading."
