Hello Friends
This thought came to my mind and i thought i should discuss it here. In soccer Captains wear armband on his shoulder.. Don't you think in cricket there should be something like this. I mean captain should get some different identity from other team members just like football.
What are your thoughts on it ??

Hi akp
Of the few matches that I have watched and read about this world cup, I think the captains have already made themselves stand apart - Ponting fighting with his team mate over a catch on field, Dhoni - upset about finding bowlers and fielders and my favorite of the season - Afridi - He has his own style on field and looks impressive...
But, yes, I think that would be a good suggestion... I noted it down and maybe next time when you and I are in charge of framing the guidelines we would do that - remember we are going to ICC presentation of the Trophy in case there is a tie at the finals - we would be there to decide who keeps the top half and the bottom half

Dude you have came with a good idea but i think it not necessary in cricket also can say captain of a cricket team has to make more work of leadership than a football captain. In football coach play major than the captain.
Armband is weared in cricket at some special occasion or for some promotional purpose.

ya wearing something like armband is acceptable.
and in soccer even the non playing player can be a captain, but hear player should be one player inthe playing eleven.
but wearing something like armband is acceptable, but not like to have a major difference.
even if there is no arm band i am able to distinguish the captain as i know the captains of each team.
