Hi there, Saying thank you are very normal to us but usually we heard it after done to you something. right? But in other way like in religious aspect thanking for everything (includes our faith) that's why saying thanks are using at the start like the food to eating. Thanking God for the blessing to take. But other religion thanking using at the end when it was happened or done. To your views when is the right time to say thank you? and Why?

in my opinion, there is no right or wrong time to say thank you. we even say thank you for the illness we have, at least it's you and not your kids. we say thank you for a request we made for a certain thing, even before it was approved. that's all HE is asking from us, to say, THANK YOU LORD! every time, any time. thank you for this discussion. this will mean a lot for this month's payout.

We usually say thank you when we are offered help or has received help. But talking about being thankful to God, you need to be thankful to him at all times. For the mere fact that you are breathing and still alive. He is the source of life so we have to be thankful for that. Let us thank Him even for the little things, we might not be able to realize that everything is given to us by Him.

Hello my friend, how you can thank somebody when you offering help for them? You mentioned we should thank God all the TIMES - it means all aspect of our life even failure, trails and sacrifices. Am I right or what? see you around

Hi, for point 1, I said when we are offered help (not that we are the one offering help). Point 2, yes. Even in trials or adversities we should still thank God. It is hard but yes we should because like what ive said above, the mere fact that we are still alive is a big thing to be thankful for to God.

In a way you are always thanking after something has been given to you. Look at it this way, when you are saying "Thank you" in a religious aspect, you are saying it because something already happened that lead for you to have that plate of food on your table, for you being healthy, etc. You are thanking because "something" happened already, not because you are going to eat, or because you're starting your day early morning. You are thanking because whatever gave you the opportunity to be right here, right now, THAT oportunity was given to you already, that's what you're thanking for. Hope I make myself clear, at least that's my point of view.

Well, everyone of us know that it is necessary to say thank you at suitable time. However,we needn't always say thank you every time we receive help from others. For example ,when one of our family members has offered help ,we needn't say thank you. What we should keep in mind is that we shall offer our hands when it necessary.

There must be some misunderstanding between us.What I said yesterday meant that we don't need always say thank you orally. The more important thing is that we shall keep the gratitude in the deepest part of our mind .I mean ,just saying thanks is sometimes enough.Meanwhile, for the members of our family, there needn't always be oral word "thank you".We shall say "thank you" in the way of ACTIION.

I just currious about you said we can oofer our hands when it necessary, then your example is member of the family - you mean to say they are not deserve to receive a thank you because they are your family? I just ask your clarification because they are also human that need thank you. Or your thinking not necessary because you think authomatically and they know. But thank you is for everybody right or wrong? see you around

For me, when some had helped me greatly, that's the right time to say thanks. I don't just say thank you to whatever, especially if the help really isn't needed.

I think when someone is helping even if we do not need the help, then we will/can/must say -- "No, thank you"

Hi visavis, If you are really feeling thankful to anything or anyone, there is no such time to say it... Say it anytime you realize and feel. The feeling should be genuine and from the heart

Yeah I know that we are giving a thanks if you feeling thankful to anyone. But we are giving only to them after we realize it deserve to thank them. Or is it possible to offer thank you to anybody before they done anything to you? Or impossible thank is always after or after the result received... see you around

Well, I dont mind saying thank you before an action is done... though some people see it as a negative thing as they feel that it is another way of getting things done - example - if you say - can you pass me that glass of water, thanks. it may mean that you are forcing the other person to pass on that glass of water... but I dont mind and often say that way

In your example, using thanks at the end is same as "please" which I think not giving any force instead of respect and good manner. It is not big deal, the problem is you used "CAN YOU PASS" meaning commanding the power of thanks has been void. So I think the better if "would you please"... see you around

hello friend, Religiously or not,we must be thankful to our Creator always, each time we had the chance to say thanks. Some people only knows how to say thanks you to our Lord when they receives blessings,on their birthdays, occasion etc,but forget to say thanks everyday of their lives. The most sad part is,people blame God sometimes when things went wrong in their lives. But they never blame God when they are receiving a lot of blessings... i just wonder if one person ever say "dear GOD please stop showering me with blessings please,i already have enough money..please blessings to other people" ....do you know one?

Thank you today, because I discovered it after a rain, fresh and emotions inherent in a discovery. Thanks last night, sunrise found me with my ability to take some risks. The luxury of time right now I find my courage. Thanks mom, that's my mom. Thanks that gave me the age at entry doors and other than those of ignorance. As he gave me a slap soul to find my own mirror between hours and seconds, not between people. I found secrets and we found answers. Thank the dear family and friends, since they have not forgotten that I always discover something good and true, that would be enough to get me the courage to go his own way, with strength in me. I have defined the path and I was back down to earth when you look to know who they are. Thanks because my thoughts, positive or negative, I learn to accept and communicate with others waiting for a beginning, not an end. or why not, and other roads. Thank you dear, because, through it, explore novel treatment of the emotions of love. Thank you my daily steps, because let me experiment and demanding things. And last but not least, thank you, those who read me.

For me, there is no exact "right time" for saying thank you. We can say it before or after a meal. We can also say it before or after we receive a favor from other people. What really matters is that we say "thank you" for every things (little or big) that has been said and done to us. For me, I also says thank you for some of the bad things that happens to me (like scolded by my boss for a lousy job) because through that bad things that happened to us, we learn a lot.

Anytime is right time to say "thank you". It shows that we are obliged and grateful to that person. We should say "thank you" every time when it is possible to say. This will improve our impression to that person. Yes we say "thank you" to God before starting eating because he is the one who has provided this opportunity to eat. We are having food on our table because of his grace and that is why we are thankful to him. We also say "Thank God!" whenever we have been saved from something unwanted like accident, loss, etc. We thank God for preventing us from such an adverse condition.

i am used to say thank you every time I receive a help. it doesn't matter if it is a big help or just a small one. It makes me feel good and I am sure that it helps the other ones also. So saying thank you is a think you should do every time you have the chance.

Ok in a christian way before starting eating they usually say a prayer of thanksgiving, but not yet received or not yet eat the food still in the table but in other religion what they do eat first and after they received or eat the food its time to say thank you - which is better way before we start or after we received? see you around
