What is the significance of the colors of the stars?

I just crossed my first milestone of 100 post and earned a Yellow Star! Really happy about it! I also notice that other than yellow, there are blue and red stars! I tried to search for some more information on this but did not found any! What I really want to know is the significance of these colors! Also, are there tehre any more colors apart from red, blue and yellow?

The stars are explained here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx#3 If you observe when you are participiating you will see many other colours. They go from 1 - 10, and 10 is the highest. Pass your cursor over the star and you will see a value inside each star. The more plusses you receive for your activity then the higher your star will be and it affects your earnings. You would be wise to read the FAQs to understand it better. Read the Guidelines too: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx and you will see that 'milestone' topics are deleted as are questions which are already answered in the FAQs.

Hi sameer! First you should understand that the number beside your name (here) is called your myLot 'user rating'. It is not a post count because it does not include all of your activity. You will receive yours when you see sameer_1984(100). Your star is your myLot 'user reputation'. It is clearly explained here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx

Mysdianait, thank you very much for explaining it well. I did go through the FAQs but some of the things were not very clear about this so I thought of posting this question. Although, I did understand why some of the questions get deleted but did not understand your what milestone questions mean? Do you mean to say that questions regarding milestones get deleted or what? Kindly please explain this! Thanks once again.
