Military look

I have noticed lately that everywhere I go the military style is out on the store racks. Of course this doesn't bother me one bit as that is what I want to buy, of course it might also be that I want to buy it because it's out there. Have you noticed this lately as well? I've found purses, and clothing that are military like. I've already planned out an outfit if they still have it when I have the money to spend on it. It is a short sleeved tan kinda air force shirt, and I think there might be shorts with it but I'd get camo pants. Then I want a camo bag, and I saw some camo earrings. Of course that's too much camo to be wearing all at once so I'd sort it all out BUT I do want the outfit. I'd top it off with a camo hat that is kind ain the style of a military hat / sort of like a french beret. So does anyone else liek the military look? has anyone else noticed that it's really been out in stores? or is it just my area?

I went looking for a new Camo outfit the last time I went shopping...couldn't see any! As a Guy,Camo clothing to Me equals army surplus store coats and boots.Somehow, once the Fashionistas work it over,it looks a whole lot better on Women.. But Maybe that's just Me having watched Michelle Rodriguez as the Marine Pilot in Avatar...

haha, ah well it's funny you mentioned that! I just saw some camo shorts for guys at a hand me down latest fashion store yesterday. I don't know who Michelle Rodriguez is so can't comment on that but well I have noticed the military look for women is much more girly then it is business whereas for men it's all business end of a shotgun kinda thing.

That is surely what it seems is going on though with the movies you're talking about.

Hi there, I have always been a great fan of military coloured tights, jeans and tees. In Australia, winter is on its way so i can see military prints jackets, cargos, shoes and so many other items have just arrived in the market. I have such a long shopping list this winter and military coloured clothes will be definitely on it.

I hope you can find some good outfits at good deals then! Keep warm this winter! It's spring here and I am glad! How much are the military clothing designs over there?

I saw some fashion reviews on television last fall talking about the military look. It looks really good on some people, and I bet it would look good on you. I used to wear a Navy Peacoat for my winter coat. Military fashion comes and goes, I would say that it is an indicator that people respect the military. Some of the clothes are really sharp looking, and can be good for fun and for professional wear.

It's funny you should mention respecting the military as I was afraid that it was almost a sort of disrespect to be wearing the Military fashion like it was, well I guess just that fashion. I do want to get a few pieces of miltary type apparel however, and intend to do so whenever I can get some money. I just didn't want people to think I was being disrespectful to our nation's heroes.

This has been a fashion here for years over here. I have shorts, caps and even my wife and the kids have some of them. Problem with these kinds of clothing, some criminal even use them, at times police attires to get their criminal acts.

I have not noticed this. Of course I don't really follow current trends to the tee..I like it keep my own bit of style and keep it kind of classic/neutral. Fashion is too much work for me. I cna't be bothered to accessorize and buy a new (expensive!) shirt and all that. lol. Plus, I never really liked camoflauge, but that's just my opinion.

Oh I stay in Charlotte North Carolina and I just became aware of the same thing when I recently went shopping. This has always been one of my favorite looks and I have been trying to go for it for years but I could only find certain items and I had to collect piece by piece to get the collection that I have. But when I went to the mall recently I was pleasantly surprised to leave with everything in my style I purchased some camo covered shoes that I love and I have a lot of military looking shirts. When we had the big event in charlotte CIAA. I seen people from all over the united states who visited my city dressed in camo or military feel clothing

Hi from Winston Salem! Im glad it's not just me, I've seen it everywhere. I've seen mostly guys wearing camo though for some reason. The stores I've been visiting are like walmart, target, plato's closet. I've been to the mall but don't think I'd really noticed much camo there. I'd like to head over to Four Seasons Mall one day when I get a bunch of money to spend.
